I think most people are actually quite similar around the world, as far as ratio of assholes to decent people. There are so many in these videos that admit they're wrong and kindly agree to back up, but nobody really considers them when voicing their opinions on Russians. I'm American, and I definitely have seen road rage just as bad over here. We're just lucky that our sidewalks are small, and that our police force has an insatiable appetite for money.

The old man in the last clip reminds me of an incident I had about a year ago. On my road where I live, there is a gravel footpath pedestrians should take because of the main road not being so wide. The road itself however, is wide enough for a truck and a car, or two large SUVS to meet so it is not a one way street. Anyway, I was walking down the road because the footpath was very muddy due to the recent rain and I had khakis/beige pants on and didn't want them dirty. On top of that, it was almost 11:30 (AM that is for all Americans), so there were literally no cars on the road at the time. Then this 65-ish old idiot driving his Mercedes GL350 came up from behind, swerved right in front of me and stopped to ask me something (just some bs). He now claimed it was illegal for me to walk there (which is never the case in Swedish residential areas) yadayadayaa. I told him that's not the case and asked him politely to fuck off since I knew I was right. I pointed out that the footpath looked like the trenches of WW2, but to no avail. Then this man of childish nature tried to run over me and actually hit my elbow (only because I jumped off to the side I was able to avoid further injuries). This to happen in Sweden (Stockholm) is so rare and it's nothing compared to what you guys do but I just thought I'd share my only physical encounter with a driver + car. Some old people are so self entitled and think they always are right. Opinion becomes statement. And for you thinking I was wrong walking in the street when there was a (muddy) footpath - I always take it unless the rain is pouring down :)
