Stopped by the cops while fishing at Bangs Lake

We got pulled over on our boat by the cops at Bang Lake in Wacounda, IL. I caught a nice size one though. The noob fisherman had a bad day. :-(

You’re lucky that he didn’t give you a ticket. I used to fish and ski there all the time. It would be nice if they explained that you need a permit when you launched but that makes too much sense

Great vid also u pulled out some nice bass. I know theres a ton of bass there but those were some really nice sized ones for the lake. You should try the lake during winter huge perch and crappie through the ice.

Yeah i've been out there lauching from Lindey's. The perch bite is insane, all throughout the year. Luckily we didn't get stopped even tho we knew a police boat was out there. The permit is worth it tho.

Thats the first time i heard its a private lake. I go out their all the time with my dad and thats the first time i saw a cop telling you u need a permit. By the way when will we know the giveaway winner?
