Every single night, my 75 year old grandpa watches your videos. All he talks about is the projects you’re making and he’s always super excited about it. He doesn’t use devices much so it makes me really happy that he has something that he looks forward to doing. Especially in the winter time.

Chad's a good person. He is on his own level and not trying to outdo someone else. He really enjoys what he does the way he likes it. He would like to please everyone but we all know that is impossible. As long as he is happy, what else matters.

Yes, indeed. People have to understand bad. Chad is not about this. He’s about building a custom car that people can do without a lot of money and what you have on hand and with basic tools. But there’s always five or so percent who cannot get that through their heads.

This really puts in perspective what you’re putting together in a short amount of time. Of course any car can go this far. Coolness is measured in liquid dollars. In construction there are 3 values. Time, money and quality. You only get 2, 1 is going to suffer.

I hope you’re laughing all the way to the bank. Keep beating the drums of success and pay no mind to these clowns that “think” they know something about something. Believe me I use the word “think” very lightly. The affect of what their BS is showing in your videos and it’s frustrating to watch. I understand it’s part of it, but giving your energy away to such shallow souls is unnecessary.

Chad & Jolene, thank you for taking us along on your visit! I spent my whole working life in automotive and so I knew how much work goes into a top notch restoration, but I still enjoy watching. Maybe those who complain about you not building show cars or you not prepping and painting everything will have a better understanding of why! Since it can easily take 5 years in the shop and run over $100K plus I don't think they would want to watch you work on the same vehicle for 4 or 5 years. Great camera work Jolene!

This shops does 7 or 8 at a time over 2 years for the most high end. do your math. That is 1 completion exciting the shop every 3 months ! This is not just 1 car , but to be fair a total of 4 hands and very extremely knowledgeable manager. No matter the content, you could spend a more conscious effort in your accuracy. As a Newbie in the sheet metal world I am glad to hear this conversation about sub par parts. I have been learning a lot about that while replacing a lower hinge pillar on my 65 bug. I spent my hard earned money on a patch panel that I have spent days reshaping and modifying to actually allow the door to be hung on it correctly. Seller of the part shrugs it off like it is what it is. Great content I suppose but very frustrating...
