I have a large amethyst like the one you showed, but it is shaped a little differently. I got mine at a rock/crystal show & since it was the end of the last day I was able to get mine for $1299, which is actually a fairly good deal. I have them in all shapes & sizes, along with many other kinds & colors of crystals./rocks. My grandfather was a rockhound. He traveled the world searching for gems. I grew up spending lots of time in his shop, polishing rocks & making jewelry with him. One of my prized possessions is a beautiful opal ring he made me for my high school graduation. Anyway, thank you for showing the amethyst. They are really the only thing I collect at this time in my life.

You should come to the Gem Show in Tucson AZ. It usually runs from January 26 - February 14. The crystals and gems will blow your mind and your wallet. Mother nature is amazing 😍

My Great Granny used those sort of Capodimonte Ashtrays when she held Parties for Grandpa's Clients. She'd put toothpicks in the tiny holes so people could enjoy different types of Hors d'oeuvres or appetizers. She got them as a Wedding Gift from her Mother-in-law & hated them. She'd be inventive with her Table Displays to her MIL angry. One day something is a ashtray & the next it's used for something else.

Can’t believe you didn’t buy those darling mouse and chick figurines at the last for 3. With Easter coming, you could have gotten 15 each easily. Joslyn just sold a mouse and moon that was similar for over $50 on Whatnot. Lol, I know she could sell a dog turd if she told the viewers that she was “obsessed” by it, but even so, I hated to see you pass those up. I need a road trip to that market, looked like something for everyone.

I was at Market of Marion today. Looks like we visited the same areas. The gold jewelry casket for $5 that you looked at was still there. Lol! I almost bought it, but ended up passing. I did pick up a large 13" lidded Tonala canister at that same booth for $5, as well as a set of mid century stainless steel and teak cocktail serving trays with matching cocktail forks (also $5). They were new old stock and in their original box. Made in Japan. Those were my best finds. Have you been to Webster's Swap-O-Rama yet? It's south of Wildwood, FL. I was there a couple of months ago and bought a head vase almost identical to the green one you first looked at, except the one I got seems to be in a little better condition. But I got it for only $10.00!! Check out that flea market. It's a good one, but they're only open on Mondays. 6am-2pm I think.
