"Always signal left before stopping, regardless you parking left or right hand side". Does this apply to forward parking too?

Forward parking you don’t need to stop and you must signal in the direction you are turning/parking 👍

Just wonderinn, um why do we need to signal left whne parking right? Wouldnt that confuse the people behind us or in front of us? Sorry im just confused :))

We need signal for stopping not for reversing. And we also stop on left hand side that’s why we signal left regardless which side you are reversing 👍

Hi I am wondering, if there is anyone behind fully stops to wait for us to reverse, reluctant to move around us, then can we proceed our reverse parking while they are stopping and waiting or not?

Good day just wondering if I'm allowed just do a drive around the block where I park the car todo something left behind but I have to stop in the stop sign do you think the accesors would failed me for that? Or I have to drive and pass the house its very confusing 😕 thank you

Good morning Kharene Unfortunately, going around the block is not an option! You have to turn around using a safe option and drive pass the house and come back to same address 👍

After car inside bay and straight still u didnt straight steering rather let it go further inside and turn ur steering 2 and half and then after did straight steering to park fully inside , right ? I always confuse some people says 2 and half steering some people says straight steering . Which is and y plz explain .

Steering is judgment call, don’t count 2 and half. Just practice and learn to fix your steering naturally

Hi i was just woundering on what reverse park is preferd, because on my first test i did the reverse park what u did in the video. But the guy said it would be easier to do it pulling first (foward park) than reverse back into the bay?

Darren Hilston You have options, so you can do as I have showed in the video or you can angle your car out and reverse So depends what’s the situation and how you have practiced Thanks

karamveer singh Driving assessor won’t accept a car with the hand break on foot, sorry 😐 You must provide a car has centrally mounted hand breaks 😊 Regards

I'm doing mock PDA's with my instructor, and for this exercise sometimes my bay parking isn't perfect. So I fix it up by moving forward and back and getting it right. However, my instructor marked that as a path fail if I don't get it perfect the first time. Is this how the DoT assessors really mark it? Coz that seems rather unreasonable...

Dragonzord Thanks for your enquiry If you know you’re out of lines and still went very deep in the parking bay, then yes, you would loose a path point. As soon as you see your car is out of line, you should immediately go forward and fix it and you don’t loose any point. Regards

@@SUMITDRIVINGACADEMY-SDAperth Yeah, As soon as I noticed that it wasn't perfect I fixed it. But, still lost points. Feels weird considering I'm still a learner, and even expert drivers don't get it right all the time.. But it seems learners are expected to get it right first try.

Dragonzord You should not loose your point in your real test as long as you fix on time and look around before reversing 😊
