Tip to not fight the Hinox: -get moon jump before the trials -get ONTOP the Hinox room -jump over the edge into the abyss(staying up so you don’t die) until a weird dome spears -JUMP UP HIGH or at least until you are at where the dome curves in -go through the wall (there shouldn’t be a death barrier or invisible wall) -get your sword

I learnt how to Skew just because I'm not good enough for the trial of the sword in master mode. The guide on how to obtain the full power sword so easily has been a huge help to my full completion of Master Mode, thank you for just having SO MANY COOL TRICKS to teach us about this game, it's so much fun pushing it to the limit, I've learnt so much about this game which is rare for me, I usually don't try interesting tricks like these in games but all of them are amazing! As of June 23, 2021, 10:16AM EST, everything in this video up to the Beginners Trial of the Sword skip still works. I had to re-get my shield skew for the clip into the Hinox room to work, but other than that hiccup, I managed to do my first ever trial skip! Update: literally just did the other two trial skips, so everything in this video is still up to date!

My last three playthroughs of botw have all been with the initial time freeze for the permanent sunrise aesthetic, and something I neglected doing two out of three times was opening the second door before clipping out of the shrine of resurrection so I could go back inside for the champion's ballad without disrupting the freeze. I have yet to complete the champion's ballad with permanent 5:15 am, and I want to see what the final cutscene with kass would look like with a sunrise instead of an afternoon

Just a head's up, there is no way to get back into the Shrine of resurrection without Clipping. Even if you open that door, there is no way to fast travel to it. It remains Orange forever(which means "found" but not "activated".) I'll be making a video on it soon, though, because I did find an easy way after lots of trial and error!

Tip for Trial of the sword: if you’re too scared of the box breaking on you, hit the Hinox on the chin. It’s more inconsistent to do it that way, but it’s safer.

I wanted to say something about shield clipping. The best place (although it's a pain in the ass) to get your skew is the Yah Rin Shrine. When you walk in, there's a block in the middle of the room that allows you to get a skew in all the four directions, obviously North, South, East, and West. One thing that I personally didn't realize until I had tried to clip through a wall for five hours with no luck is that you can ONLY clip through a wall in the direction you got your skew. So let's say you got your skew while facing North. You can ONLY clip through North walls. Maybe there's a way around that, but that's the easiest and most simple way I've found to understand and do it. I hope I helped someone 😊

The time is set to 11:00 am and starts moving only after you activate the intro cutscene, activate the tower, and speak to the Old Man at the bottom. I want to get all the dates and times for the most important events of this game and the next and remember hearing from here that the time is stuck at 5:15 am until the intro cutscene is activated, I went to test this but didn't find anything because I was playing in pro mode so I had to go back and check. My tip for the hinox: if he breaks the box or if you dont wanna use the box DO THIS - on first floor grab a branch or a boko club and when you are foghting him throw it in his eye, he will then fall down and you can grab stronger weapons off his necklace. I found some arrows on his stage and i just hit his eye and picked off his health until he died.

Okay.... after something like 20 tries I finally managed to get through the wall, get to the Hinox, drub it with the box.... and THE BOX BROKE... which led to me running around in circles dropping bombs for ages until it finally died. [Edit]: Several hours after beginning this arduous trial, I have finally completed it... Thanks for this guide! Literally none of the other shield-clip guides I checked online were any help at all, but this one finally got me through (at least once I realised that 30fps lock was mandatory).

Fun fact: you can use the trees inside the first room of the beginning (and I assume final) trial(s) to get skew if you mess up leaving the rooms. Also don’t mess up your Hague Convention violation, fighting a hinox with only bombs is not fun, I’ve done it thrice

Dude your trial skip tutorial was so much better than the 4 others I used before. I was using all the wrong shit to get my skews and because of that each trial was taking 6+ attempts and getting the fully upgraded master sword took me 2 and a half hours. But with your guide I just got it done on master mode in 45 mins.

Thank you, Kleric! I just finished the Trial of the Sword skip (finished it for real on my brother's Switch; did NOT wanna do that again, haha), and my heart is still coming down from the adrenaline from how often I almost died or f'd up in a way that would make me have to restart. 😂

Awesome glitch explanations and video editing. It's heart warming to see content this good. Getting the fastest horse, ancient saddle, master sword, and completing the trials on master mode within the first couple hours seems to be the most worth it for the sake of maximizing fun. No need to stop time - why lose those sweet blood moons for resetting fun fights and gem mining?

Dude lemme just say, even though I’ve already played through the game in the way intended, trying these out was a blast! So many new tricks and tips learned, even some game mechanics I didn’t even know about in terms of the real game! And the subtitles were beyond helpful. A perfect mix of simplicity, yet not to the point where you’re babying us. Simply stunning! If only every KZbin tutorial video was like this. Kudos to you ^-^

First, nice video. Second, just finished my 5th time through the game and have been doing some statistical analysis. Third, I get the horse as soon as possible in the game. This time through, I did timed trials with horses of each speed. My video is about 30 minutes and is quite boring to watch. But, it shows that the horse with the worse speed "2" finishes the trial at exactly the same time as the 2-5-3 horse. I won't spoil the surprise. Also. A horse, with stats 1-2-2, which is ridden by some silver bokoblins can easily catch the 2-5-3 horses even if we have the ancient horse gear and eat endure carrots. Note: I feed every horse I catch 10 apples as soon as I catch them so I can get by the two labels without the horses wanting to fight. 19:35 Interesting as this code is part of the progression in Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. Just before the cannon shots - in the song - the notes, done numerically are 5-3-1-2 222222-3-2-3-1. But you gotta know the rhythm. Anyway, nice video. Thanks for posting it.

I must say thank you so much man. I’ve been wanting the awakened master sword for a while and I could never beat the final trials on normal or master mode. I gave up about a year ago because I couldn’t execute the glitches properly but when I came across this video I was able to clip out of the walls and awaken my master sword. Thank you so much. I’m subscribing and liking the video. You just made my day man!
