Great series but why are the videos in the playlist not in order?

That's weird, they seem to be in order on our end. If you watch them using this view, you should be able to click on the next video on the right side of your screen: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2m9hql4mrCNe7s

You didn't cover Hexadecimal and binary. They are really hard concepts.

does this series have all the information required to pass fundamental IT plus exam?
@ITProTv
@ITProTv 3 жыл бұрын
It does! The series was structured around CompTIA's exam objectives, all of which are covered in the course.

15:38 is that type of hard drive called the same way as the older model of hard drives? or do they have a new name?
@ITProTv
@ITProTv 4 жыл бұрын
The older conventional drives would have been considered HDD=hard disk drive. The newer ones similar in form factor, to essentially be an “in place” replacement but using electronic storage on chips using the same connection would be called SSD=solid state disk. The one featured here works analogously but is not an “slide in place” replacement but has it’s own interface via PCIe (though it can use SATA) to the system board (older motherboard) is known by a couple of names:`M.2 SSD` or`nvme`. There are more distinctions here than I’ve mentioned but you can find that with some googling.

@@MartinBluck No, you are studying for the old test, some of those questions may appear on the new test. But simply search into google "CompTIA FCO-U61 practice exams" There are plenty of practice exams on udemy which you have to pay for but they offer 70%+ off occasionally, thats what i would recommend.

27:02 When you save to the cloud/service provider do you also save the information into your computer? Is there a way you can only save to the cloud and not your computer or external storage?
@ITProTv
@ITProTv 4 жыл бұрын
Typically, when you're using desktop applications, yes, you're saving it to a location on your computer, then the app may send it up to the cloud storage...but a local copy is retained then synchronizes the changes between those copies. But if you choose, you can use your browser to go their website. From there you can directly upload files. But if you're trying to do this directly from an application, this will probably not work unless you're using the online version of those applications.

@@ITProTv Thank you. Say I want to download linux as a vm I can directly upload the linux files to the cloud storage's/service provider's website and then access it when I need it?

Ah, you're correct: 1 PB = 1000 TB (in decimal) & 1024 TB (in binary). Thanks for commenting!

Took the test again, failed by 30 points. There is for sure a bunch of stuff y’all don’t cover. I improved by 40 points after watching the series though. Psuedocode. I had a ton of programming stuff that I’ve never heard of before.
@ITProTv
@ITProTv 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Jason, sorry to hear that you didn't pass. Our recommendation would be to review the programming concepts videos in the series, take notes, and study those concepts thoroughly. The test questions are meant to test your knowledge of the concepts and aren't straight forward. Feel free to comment on any of these videos and ask questions. For additional practice, we have virtual practice labs on our website for the course, as well as a Q&A forum where our instructors will answer any of your questions. You can use the code KZbin30 for 30% off a membership. go.itpro.tv/start-learning-now Stay positive, focus, and determined. You can do it!
