I mean you do realize that you bought Lamar Odom's locker, and not Kobe's yea? None of that shit has any secondary market value cuz there is zero demand. That stuff is worth pennies compared to whatever you are under the impression you can get. Well, obviously, Lamar Odom lost his stuff. My point is why should someone pay hundreds of dollars to store their stuff in a storage unit, then if you miss some payments, they take your stuff. Just put the stuff in your house, or sell it if you don't want it.

Um.... people who move a lot, have some sort of business where they need large storage, or simply don't want their home to look like shit, all cluttered with stuff they don't use or necessarily need, yet are important, valuable, etc... thus need a place for safe keeping. Also, storage units are hard to lose. It's not one payment and your out, there are plenty of warnings....however regardless of all that, when people purchase units for all that shit, it's not rented by the month, it's a annual rate that is usually discounted slightly. Thus they are one payment a year. Not brain surgery and somehow millions and millions of people successfully do it year after year. Ones that get put up for auction usually are the result of a death or totally forgetting about it. That and the stuff inside not being of any significance thus forgotten or just forfeited......something I would assume Lamar did here.....cuz none of that shit could possibly be could for his mental health. It's just a room full of reminders of how successful and happy he was, all before he totally self destructed and ended life as he knew it, forever.

Well in reality, when you sign a contract to rent one, it's essentially a condensed lease forum. In other words, that space, as long as you pay for it, is legally your domain and property. So it isn't like you're just paying some business to let you use what is essentially a gigantic oversized locker, on their property that they still have total legal rights and control over. Like the owners do not possess any master keys and possess no ability to access it on their own volition and legally can't any reason. Its a 100% safe and by far most secure option for people who need extra storage. Just don't forget your rent just like you don't forget your apt rent or mortgage payment. I mean it's not rocket science.
