In this fishing video we ventured out in freezing cold weather to go fishing. Winter fishing can be hard, but this day the fish would not stop biting. We used grocery store baits along with some cut bait and the catfish ate all of it. Fishing with chicken livers, hotdogs and fresh bait we probably caught 20 catfish.

Your videos are so well edited . Love your Alligator gar videos , I’m in Dallas I kinda new into fishing .. last summer I tried ALL summer to catch an alligator gar but didn’t get a single bite …I’m thinking of going down south to Houston’s bayous or down south to brazos river by Katy Tx..are there any gars in the bayous ? Or give me a good place to fish for them ?

Hit the Trinity River in the Dallas area. It’s loaded with gar. They are active in the summers in the heat. You may have to search for some spots but you are living in Prime gar territory

What kind I f hooks are you using for the chicken liver.

For catfish I almost always use circle hooks no matter what bait I use
