Guys you can resplice the cords back together.Just make sure the wire colors match and always use electrical tape.Walmart has it for under a dollar a roll.Or replace the cord with a new one but you will have to take the device apart.

No handle for the bacon cooker, that is it, twist the top onto the gray base and it makes the bacon flat when cooked in the microwave. I had one and its was too much to keep clean but it does work well.

The mirrors, make corner swags (upside down L shape) out of the silks you've been finding and attach with hot glue. The duvets often are reversible, sew it up and use the other side...often people will buy stuff like that for their cottage!

Bed bath and beyond you probably have a corporate person watching your channel. If you go back to find spray paint or even permanent marker tactic here with in the next few weeks. it will without a doubt mean you have a corporate spy watching. I personally don't record any of my dumpster diving or diving finds because I don't want to start having the bad luck of coming across anti diver tactics

The thing that irks me with these stores is that most of the stuff they chuck is claimed on the stores insurance as store lose/damage, so they don't lose out anyway. It's like 'we don't want it, but no-one else can have either'. When D.D's take it, it doesn't end up in landfill. I'll get down off my soapbox now :) The soft furnishings can be carefully repaired, if you know how, and are still usable and some of them are really nice. Anyway, thank you for another great video, have fun, and be careful out there. :)

I just took my mom dd yesterday for the first time and found a huge cabinet still in the box at Kirklands. Unfortunately, neither of us were strong enough to get it out because it was buried deep down and I’m short. Great dives guys!

I've commented on this on other DDers videos, so I guess I should here as well. Stores cut cords, paint items, or destroy items that they throw away because it's a loss prevention way of cutting costs. People take items from a dumpster and then try to return it to the store for cash or store credit. I worked for a major chain store for several years in loss prevention and I can tell you that it IS a big problem! Besides shoplifters, fraudulent returns are a huge problem for stores. Like it or not, and I know that none of the divers I've seen on youtube would be so low as to try something like that, but there ARE people out there who DO just that. Also, regarding cut cords. Although this part isn't relevant to this particular video or the divers in it... there ARE people who just cut cords and don't take items. They only take the cords, strip off the plastic or protective coating and sell the copper to scrapyards. Anyway, the stores aren't destroying stuff just to be mean. They're trying to make sure that items returned by shoppers that can't be returned to the manufacturer don't get refunded to the shopper who bought and then returned it, then it gets thrown into the trash and someone takes it from the trash and tries to return it to the store for cash or store credit, thus the store loses not only the sale, they lose the original refund to the shopper, but then they lose money the second time because some crook tries to pull a fast one on them.

Nice haul!..even if they spray painted things you can get it out..if you watch my kind of beautiful her channel will show you how to get spray paint out of things and it’s amazing!..you should take those comforters and blankets that are kinda cut because you can fix them!..you are finding things cut up because probably an employee from there saw your videos and probably talked and told other employees and now they are destroying their stuff.

My dear Josh, never mind the cut cords or ripped sheets. A bit of effort from you, Nicole or someone else could get them back as new. And in these times it is totally worth it. You could get the cord joined or sell them as is and someone could use them. A little bit of thread and needle and those blankets could warm someone cold. Don't ever hesitate to take what you see. Even if you take it to donate or repurpose it is still better than what the stores are doing. Especially groceries, food, clothes, utensils, linen, toys, shoes and other useful items. Many people could use that. I watch your videos and wish I could have a pillow or a blanket but I can't afford them. So God bless you for what you do.

They do it because people are advertizing selling the stuff. I love watching the videos but in the same turn everyone who posts them make it harder for those who actually needed these items and can no longer get them. Most people who do not do thiis for money are care givers of elderly family memembers and can not afford basic house hold items do to the costs of medical expenses. the government does not allow family members to be paid so the care giver loses out all the way around. Now they can't find much needed items and in most cases lose an income in having to stay home from work. I do not sell anything I find I give it away having to take care of my dad who had alzhimers for 15 years. Being disabled myself I was not allwed to be paid to take care of my father. Videos like these made it so much harder to make it because we couldn't even find basic things needed which would have helped out greatly. Gas isn't free so it is either buy gas to get to dr appts nor are adult diapers or get the basics. So you do with out the basics everyone else takes for granted.

@@spoffy100 I don't know which state you live in, but here in CA. my mother and my disabled sister have this state's version of Medicaid because they are both under the income guideline which is $2000.00/month. Both are incontinent and I was paying out of pocket for their diapers until my mom's doctor gave me a pamplet for Shield Health Care. Now MediCal pays for their diapers and they are delivered to the house monthly. I also got certified to become an IHSS provider and MediCal pays me to take care of them. It's not much because they only qualify for so many hours a month, but it suppliments my SocSec check. And the training and certification process is free. They cut the cords because some unscrupulous divers try to return the items to the stores...also they can’t be responsible for any problems with items after they are discarded... you might want to stop telling which stores your finding this stuff as well...
