I meant RONNIE McDowell, a country singer, who has provided the voice for Elvis on film pretty much ever since Elvis died, per Priscilla. Her favorite impersonation was when Kurt Russell played him in a tv movie in 79ish, and yes Ronnie was the singing voice. There was a tv show in the 90s/early2000s about elvis as a teenager. Ronnie was the singing voice. Trivia here: Russell was the (uncredited) Elvis voice in Forrest Gump.

I'm still watching this performance. Love the blues notes Adam adds to convey emotion. He really sang this flawlessly, everything is perfect, but that "I wanna drown myself in a bottle of her perfume" is why he's not just a singer - he is an astonishing artist, who has truly mastered the art of singing. His vocal range & control, his stage presence, the ability he has to make any song his own & project the lyrics with so much intensity as if he's living them, not only does justice to the song, but shows respect to the original artist(s) who wrote and/or performed it - as well as his talent and appreciation for music !!
