Why does that mech look like one of those mobile suits from one of the Gundam franchises but is painted green? Are these the same artist and animators from the creators of Gundam? 🤔🐵

No, it just looks like the creators are huge Gundam fans. The big, muscular woman is straight out of 8th MS team. That mecha you mentioned (with the cross-shaped eye camera) has the exact same head as as the Dom from the OG Gundam. The OG gundam designs are pretty simple (being from the 70s) and iconic that it is pretty easy to design a mecha that looks just like one.
