@@kirbyallison question, Kirby. Love your channel and all that you do. However, given how frequently you’re smoking cigars, are you ever concerned about the associated high risk of mouth and throat cancer? Or do the health risks of frequent cigar smoking not phase you?

@@dawens3199 Just Google it. Breast, Lung and Prostate are the 3 most common cancer of which lung cancer has the highest mortality rate. Mouth and throat is the least common cancer with low mortality rate and most of them are cigarette smokers because they smoke the whole day.

Good evening! As I have been getting into cigars, lately, I started watching these videos a few days ago. They inspired me to walk down to the local sophisticated tobacco shop and ask for my first longfiller. I wore my finest clothing, watch and jewelry and tried to conduct myself like a gentleman to the best of my abilities. The owner was very friendly and helpful. When asking about how to store and transport my cigars without a humidor, he simply said: "No worries, that is for me to take care of." I have just finished the "Flor de Copan Pelicoso" he picked out for me and it truly was a sensational experience. Many thanks to Kirby Allison and the Sahakians!

One thing I'm curious about Kirby, what watch is Eddie wearing? Looks like a two-tone AP Royal Oak, vintage. Beautiful watch, I know he is a collector, would love to see his collection some time. The town Gander, Newfoundland that was the stop off for fuel on the way to Cuba, was the same little town in Canada that 38 planes were redirected to during the 9/11 attack in NY, and the citizens of this tiny town took in approximately 7000 passengers and hosted them for up to five days , as I recall. I read the story about this, and it was an incredible act of generosity to absolute strangers

Always a pleasure to listen to Edward & Eddie. Regards the Graycliff hotel - it was a fortress way back in the day, so the wine cellars that Edward is describing were actually the jail ( or the gaol, as they would have spelled it ) - and Avellino as the house roller was succeeded, however briefly, by his son, Avellito. Those original Graycliff cigars were magical !
