A short story of The Phantom Train of Marshall Pass, Colorado.
This is something new I am trying. Adding more content during the winter months when it is harder to get out and visit more exciting places and events. Very interesting Shawn- keep them coming my friend! Train stories have always been present in my life- my grandfather’s brother Roy- well let’s just say it wasn’t just his preferred mode of transportation, it was his way of life. He lived to be 96, all his stories we gruesome! Being what we would call a “hobo” was a hard life- but he preferred it over dying young in the mines of rural Alabama.

Thank you. For many that worked on the railroad it was their way of life and though the stories of the past were often gruesome and a hard way of life our country would not be the same without the hard working and dedicated folks like your grandfather's brother. Thanks for sharing this.
