Stories Untold: A Foundation For A Unique Horror

So with Halloween being upon us (at least in the month this video went up. Hello in the future.) I thought I'd discuss something that I was really interested in, and had a fair bit to say about. Stories Untold is a puzzle, horror, sci-fi indie game I picked up early in 2017 and enjoyed it to the point where I wanted to make a video on it, so that's what this is. In this video I discuss the game in general and how I think it's a game that could serve as inspiration for a fairly unique horror title in the years to come. It's also my halloween recommendation for 2017, so pick it up if you like the look and sound of it, it's cheap and has a demo!

I watched a streamer play it a few weeks ago, and I've been talking about it ever since. It's SO good, more suspenseful horror than jump scares and stuff. Excellent, and great for the price point!

Those 165,000 copies sold are kind of deceptive. Most of them were part of a recent cheap Humble bundle. I think they developers had only sold about 23,000 copies since the release date. That's sad, really. I'm still hoping they will make another great game though.

Hmm, yeah that's a good point. Like I said, "If Steamspy is anything to go by", which it shouldn't be completely relied on for accurate info. Still, I think attention and feedback is just as important as money and if Humble Bundle gets games noticed a bit more, that's a silver lining I suppose. Something I wish I mentioned in the video though, No Code were and I think are hiring for another project!
