Thank you, I cut back on the saying some, thought it might get old. I started with screens and it worked good. When I got plastic frames the crystals melted the plastic frames where they touched.

One plate on the very top super. The vapors are heavier than air so only plate on top is necessary.

Randall, I do this too but I tape the seems. Do you place the supers on a solid bottom board when stacking them?

i use 2 lids per stack, one on bottom and top. i do not tape the joints at all but i am careful when stacking to make sure there are no gaps and i weigh down top with blocks.

Do stored wet supers keepi waxmoth from destroying comb?

Do you ever have ants get in the stored supers.

I certainly do while they are being cleaned out. After adding crystals I don't see ants in them at all. The ants do not damage them and consume shb and wax moth larvae if they appear.
