I use vacuum packed bags for storing out of season clothing. Once you suck all the air out of them they take up minimal space. Loving the Christmas Snoopy t-shirt by the way! :)

Our master bedroom closet is small. I pack up my winter stuff in a large Space Bag and store it in the guest room. I'm actually pack it up today and washing all the warm weather clothes I took out of the Space Bag.

Even tho we live in Calif, it snows here! The most difficult part of that has always been that we must pack clothes away when seasons change! Winter clothes are always bulky and take up so much of the smaller closets space. Sigh! Under the bed boxes work well. I have to have a whole container for crocheted and knitted neck scarves!

I had some plastic moth balls in with jumpers - Youve made me realise they are about 4 or 5 years old and no longer smell of anything! will invest in the blocks - never heard about them before. @VintageChrystelle I used to use under the bed storage a lot in our old apartment. What a clever storage solution when you need extra space!

She's mentioned in another video (I think her closet organization one) that if she has gently used shoes she sometimes donates them or gives them away. So if that is the case you want to keep the insoles that belong with the shoes for when you remove the custom orthotics :)

How do I store my winter items? I don't. I have 2 coats that just hang in the front hall closet. Good for putting on even in spring time when I run out to get the mail early in the morning. The rest-hoodies& jeans I wear year round. I hate winter, I hate winter clothes & I hate investing in winter stuff. Few hats & gloves I own, go in a nice bag in the front closet too.Bought boots (-40!)for the 1st time in 10yrs just for outdoor photography. I don't ski. Did I mention yet that I hate winter?:-)

It does I grew up in a Victorian house and we have a cedar closest and it wasn’t until I was older that it was actually made of cedar and I always assumes that’s just what we called it. Lol but that’s were we stored our clothes.
