Temperature plays a major role deciding which enolate will be formed. Since no temperature is mentioned we will consider it as thermodynamic enolate.

For the H.W.1, you told that me and bu are in opposite plane. But you told that when there is HMPA then it will give cis....so, here Me and bu why not in the cis position?

The answer of Metalloenamine is wrong/it may be minor product,because in presence of acid it gives a most stable Alpha- Beta unsurated carbonyl compound.& in presence of only water it gives a beta-gyma unsatn.product, please correct it
