Beautiful birds. When I lived in Poland as a kid on a farm, we had them everywhere. Very majestic creature when in flight.

I'm always fascinated by their ability to travel such long distances only relaying on their own wings.

Absolutely wonderfull, I wish that the people here in Australia would take notice of this video and learn a valuable lesson namely WE HUMANS ARE ONLY ONE SPECIES ON EARTH AND WE RISK CATASTROPHE IF WE WIPE OUT ALL THE OTHER SPECIES

Wahhhh this documentary isn't long enough ~ I wouldn't mind learning more about these birds and how they're making a good comeback ^^. Didn't know they can be hand-raised by humans and they wouldn't react in such a dangerous way, it's quite interesting and settle.

If the stork population is so small, why is the human population so high?

Hopefully they help or try to help infant storks that were less fortunate to be tossed by their parents. Possibly those who survived a fall get rehabilitated?
