I had the same issue. You have to use it in PVE. PVP don't grants progress.

personally sturm feels as good as igneous to me. if i had to pick one i would pick iggy because it has a mod slot. i just use sturm for weapon variety

pi Iggy definitely wins in terms of having the longest range/ damage fall off, but Sturm honestly feels great with the catalyst

how do you not get cheaters? literally 1 of every 3 comp games I play every week has a cheater or a recov. I know because their KD jumps from 0.5 to 3.4 in 4 days, and I get the "Thank You" message from bungie the next day for reporting cheaters.

honestly not sure lol. i rarely run into blatant cheaters. i used to see a good amount of recovs but recently ive been lucky
