Storm Babet: Retford residents assess flooding damage

A homeowner in Retford told Sky News the flooding in the Nottinghamshire town was the worst he had seen in nearly 50 years.
More rain is expected this week as residents return to their flooded homes.

Not that I'm suggesting Sky is trying to push a narrative here but... the first guy says "I've lived down here 48 years ... and it's been happening more or less every year". To which the Sky reporter is quick to ask "But this is the worst?" and once the man replies "This is the worst" they cut the clip off. 🤔

Yes it does flood down here a lot but this is the second time it flooded this badly and they were promised better flood defences last time it happened
