As one grows older, there's no will of going out and drive, much less at night, unless is absolutely necessary. It becomes more pleasant staying home and not be out in the crowd. You can save on the heating wearing more sweaters, warmers-underpants, a scarf and head cover, just like it was 60 years ago, put more blankets on your bed and a hot-water-bottle for the feet. Plenty of hot tee and you will be feeling cozy in your 'nest'. I think this year is going to be a cold winter and the time for snow to fall in places that haven't fall for decades, the cycle coming around again. But of course the cult of 'climate change' will say never happen before, so you don't complain about they taking your money. Who knows, maybe the Thames river will freeze again like in the past.
