Good luck. Having the roof on is very meaningful. In old shows about the rehabilitation of shabby, historic buildings I used to watch I recall they couldn't get a loan from the bank until the place was watertight.

How great to see the roof on and the waterproofing membrane to protect the roof before the rain came. Great job to all. Geidre we use the term “gopher” for the person who helps those who need something on a work project. “Go for” this and “Go for” that - LOL! It is not really starting to look wonderful with the roof on! Lots of thanks to those that helped Andrius on the roof.

One thing I noticed was that there were no extra bracing inbetween the first and second rafters at either end of the roof. Stay safe. Stay healthy. Now i remember 😊. G, you're are such an ace apprentice carpenter. You just pick things up (learn & do) so nicely. Carpentry, stone masonry work... i know you're gonna gain roofing, plumbing, power systems, internet connectivity skills! People think you farm and cook very well... well, you're just as much a multi-faceted talent as Andrew. You guys have so much talent. Hope you will also grow to foster and mentor others like Nick & Andrea. Um... i notice you have a lot of long screw tips that hold your roof beams sticking out of the wood. If Andrew ever has to trim those off, i beg him to be sure to have protective goggles on, k? Y'all have been working so hard on realizing your dream life, i want you to enjoy the fruits of your labor *whole*, for a long time. 😍
