@Hengists_Wild_Camps Hey thanks for watching, we never really get proper gales like up your way! I'm quite a beginner and just getting to grips with editing so I appreciate your comments thank-you.

Great video Lesley. Anyone would think you were actively seeking out storm conditions for the thrill 😂. That tent stood its own didn’t it - really impressive. The sound of the wind in the background is amazing. What an experience. Keep up the great work. 😊👍🏼

Thanks so much, haha I seek out exciting weather because I'm camping down south, I would be more sensible in mountains! I'm testing my gear cos I hope to do mountains soon.... will you be out again soon?

@ good shout - testing the gear lower down first. That tent should be up to the job on the mountains by the looks of it. Hoping to get out Sunday, but the wind is looking bloody awful 💨 👍🏼

I think I may have made a similar comment on a previous video but admirable sangfroid given those challenging conditions! That does look like a beautiful spot (I really liked the shot at 2:!6).

Ah now this is the 'secret' valley, it's access land on the map but almost no-one comes here, a special place, Shirburn Hill near Watlington. The M40 is just to the east, which why I camp out in windy conditions to hear more nature and less motorway hum! I really appreciate you watching and especially commenting.

@SallyShockley-n4n Hi there, and welcome! I've never been out your way but I did go to Texas for the Eclipse in April. Yes we do get some windy weather here in the UK, thanks for watching!

If you want to skip to the start of the Storm, it's 3:35 in. I pitched the tent ass end to the wind using 3 ground anchors.

It's good to see you using the delta pegs, so much more secure. That tent looks a bargain, still in good condition too... surely there must be places for you to add extra guy out points if needed.... I see what you did with the head room comment!???? You tried slipping that in... back out with the 900 ??? Well they have to repay their expanse..... Take care out there.

Ah I was wondering if anyone would spot the innuendo, I was brought up with Carry On films. Yes, it's amazing that with the pegs fully secure, this tent seems to wobble but bounce back great, the peg out points are all bungy type too allows give. Yes it's the Rab 900 all the way now I love it and hadn't realised how popular it is. Thanks for watching I appreciate it.

Loved that, quite an intimidating noise from the trees! The tent handled everything like a champ! Subscribed back, happy Christmas.
