Hi Simon we came to stay in Whitby this weekend to see The Krampus Run but it was cancelled because of the awful weather, I was the bedraggled lady who said hello at the train station, we went off to The Black Bull at Ugthorpe and had a lovely Sunday lunch on the way home. We still enjoyed our stay in Whitby despite and atrocious weather xxx

Whitby Life boat men have bravely gone out and faced worse conditions. The towns folk are built out of tuff stuff so long as a hot drink and fish and chips nothing can faze them

After a brilliant Goth Festival I was going to head over to Whitby for the Krampus event yesterday but Darragh spoiled my plans. Looks like Whitby picked up a bit of damage on the seafront, the seafoam is mad, we don't get that up in Seaham. I bet you were ready for that coffee after being out in those winds, Definitely looked drier than it was in Seaham yesterday - I got a thorough soaking!
