My daughter spent the day as a student paramedic on an ambulance during all of this, her second day! I’m proud she even made it to the ambulance station.

Greetings from Pennsylvania. I have a ton of friends in the UK and hoping they are all well and safe. I can't ever remember seeing or hearing of 122MPH winds anywhere in any part of Britain. Very hurricane-like.

I was in North London yesterday (Friday 18th) and it was really windy. Luckily I took the train into London before the storm was bad and the train home after the worst of the storm

I was literally 1 minute from my house when the storm came into London and my cap flew away so fast. I got to see the speed of the wind. It literally vanished within 2 seconds. Didn't even bother chasing after it.. well there goes my $60 cap from America.

I flew into Heathrow at 12 in an airbus a380..I’m so glad it was, the pilot was amazing. 6 hrs from dubai to Heathrow..but 6 hrs to wait for our bags because they would not unload the plane 🤦‍♂️

This storm was forecast. I am surprised the relevant airports were not closed. Aircraft elsewhere did not have to take off if the forecast weather at their destination is too bad.

Yet the person filming has no trouble standing rock steady? Just happened to be filming at the right time? The church spire was from hot fuzz and the people faked blowing over! All whilst the camera in every piece of footage had absolutely no problems standing and holding the camera steady? Seems like they want climate lockdowns, seemed to know it wouldn’t be so bad as they had people in place to catch the faked footage who had no worries being out or filming with a steady hand. I think we’re being fooled time and time again by the media we’re just too foolish to see it

The winds were bad but not 120+mph bad, all that damage can be done with 80mph, it would have to be a tropical depresssion at the least to get those speeds, it just looks better on the headlines, still a severe storm

Worst part was couldnt even spark my zoot on walk to shop wind was that bad so had to smoke it before i went but the gelato got me that stoned I couldn’t be arsed to go
