Storm Kathleen - Camping with a Bully

Wild camping out in Storm Kathleen with a American Bully. We took the serious tents for an adventure in the storm with wind and rain all night. The mini fire didn't last long once the rain hit and we retired to the tent.

High winds I would never pitch up amongst trees but thats just me, i'm also from Wales and I seen many falling while out in the stormy weather

Never seen a tree fall but yeah they can go. I do check above for widow makers before pitching though

@@MrWildWales believe you me they do haha, I was up on the mountain a few year ago when we had a storm I can’t remember it’s name lol but a few trees fell when I was up there and a few days after when the weather eased there was a 3 trees that fell across the forestry road and then quite a few in the forest was uprooted and came down, also when I was out in the storm I could not get down the other side into the valley as the wind was so strong and taking my breath away… Anyway I just bought the Vern 1 new tent I can’t wait to try it out but needing the next day dry as got no room to dry it out, but will get out there soon hopefully, anyway enjoy your camping.

Fair play for walking across that beam. Doing it with a big pack on your back makes it way harder and scarier. That could have ruined your day if that went wrong lol. I intend on doing a youtube channell but I'm just too lazy and can't afford the things I need either, lol. I will one day

@MrWildWales incase you didn't know, they have made a wooden roundhouse at the bottom of killvey hill. It's great to make I fire there etc, I go there often to get outside you should check it out. I uploaded a video of it on my KZbin channell

Goretex trail runners worked fine. Feet were nice n dry till I had to get the dog
