I love first storm ⛈ because all mechanics and details from first show ninja clashes was best and had better Justus and side quests was fun but storm 2-3-4- revolution was to Focus on online and remove all fun factors from game. Itachi move set from storm ⛈ one ☝️ is fire 🔥 and so different but storm 2 didn’t feel like good sequel because everything that great was gone from storm ⛈ 1 and characters was naruto shippiduen only, but cc2 made the first game the best because u feel like ninja and u different moves and other storms just was too focus online instead of anime core mechanics

Here’s why, CC2 not just followed all of the features from the anime, Jutsu clashes, wall running etc. They remembered the most smallest details just how it is shown in this video. They included awakening mode and ultimate jutsus with amazing cutscenes. Now imagine if CC2 kept all these consistent to storm 4 OMG imagine, Jutsu clashes with amazing effects. It really is a shame that cc2 completely taken all of these things out from storm 1.

The newer storm games sacrificed so much of its animations and gameplay mechanics in favour of a bigger character roaster because of memory limitations. They overaggerated how many characters that should be put in to the point where the game was no longer the Naruto Ultiminate NInja Storm that people remember it as. I remember constantly jutsu clashing and begin able to charge up the jutsu, as well as the smaller details like awakenings begin able to perform ultimate jutsus and the ability to fight on walls.

Same with other Naruto games actually. Some features are removed when their Shippuden series came out. Ninja Heroes inflict stats or awakens character when using Ult (Hyuga Ult activates Byakugan, Ini Ult inflict poison as to her Storm counterpart, 3rd's Ult inflict Seal while draining his HP, etc.) In Ninja Heroes 3, using Ult only damages enemy while Awakening is a separate feature.

I think the Storm series is a good example of “too much of a good thing.” I loved the rosters but the more they added, there was good amount of characters that I never really used. Big rosters are nice if they don’t hold the game back in other areas. Id love to have a budokai tenkaichi 3 vibe the storm game. With characters being obviously more powerful than others simply because its canon. I loved that one mode in BT 3 where you chose teams based on accumulated power level. If you wanted to you can play a really strong character while your friend can settle for a team of weaker characters that add up to around the same power level. That shit was cool.

Also,one thing that you forgot/didnt know, in sasuke cursed mark awakening, his chakra shuriken became a fireball, this fireball did the same damage and also cancelled other fireballs/jutsus, it really felt like you were awakening and becoming stronger. The fireball still remains in naruto storm 4 for example, but it does not do the same damage, knock back and also dont cancel other fireballs

3:06, I wonder why in future Storm games, the red chakra aura was replaced by a normal blue aura, you know when you press the Chakra reload button, it’s a detail I really don’t understand why they couldn’t put it back.

the first one was so freaking awesome and much better than the others. the ultimates were detailed and long. you could do extra hits on the ground you could charge your hits and punch someone on the wall then you guys could fight on the wall. even some characters awakenings changed your jutsu and some even had ultimate jutsu in awakening mode. there was just so much detail in the first game and then they took literally everything out and i have no idea why either.

These days game industry only thinks about good graphics and never think about how bad their play system mechanic is. i miss old games.

This game is not perfect, but it was 1 3D Naruto game, and they did a good job,it's not a masterpiece but solid 8/10 game
