I mained Storm since day 1 because she's one of my favorite X-Men characters. The buffs were nice in that she still has the same vulnerabilities in game but now the stuff I'm trying can better be backed up by actual threatening damage. She's fantastic at area control and still excels when your team is grouped or if the enemy team is grouped. I wish she had an ice-based attack of some sort, though. Something other than just wind and lightning. I enjoyed being a niche player of her in S0 and I'll be slightly sad to see her more widely used in S1. Also another counter to Storm's ult is an enemy Storm's ult. Whoever touches down first dies.

She will get fire when Human Torch is released in a month or two (its a confirmed team up). Maybe when they release a future Ice character (Emma Frost for example) they might add an Ice team up for her.

Tbh against a team that knows how to deal with her she really isn’t that OP. I think if anything they need to tune down her ult charge because she can literally get it twice in 1 fight. In higher elo her ult basically is used to just bait out support ults, but if you catch them lacking on them she can wipe the back line.

Since they have to react to me being there, and then do an ability + basic attack in the time it takes me to goh when they don’t expect it, upper cut, cancel into symbiote. I’m sure there is some storm cracked out of their mind to pull that off, I just haven’t come across one yet.

Totally agree. Spidey is my main and it's free KOs on Storm and Ironman lol. Especially with Venom buff. Without Venom buff it can be tricky if they have a pocket, so you just have to wait until the engagement has been going for a little longer.

​@LuckV.x Gotta be more unpredictable. Web cluster her a few times, web swing to then side of her then do the combo. If you just cluster her and try to combo her in a straight line your going to die lol. That goes for Hela, hawkeye, punisher, etc. Only time i ever just cluster and go straight to combo is if they don't see me or it's Ironman. Way better to webswing in a different angle that's closer then combo because it's too fast to counter.

As somebody that doesnt use any hitscan characters, I'll take a storm on the enemy team over an ironman every day of the week. She lacks movement and her ult ca easily be countered. Ironmans ult cant be countered as easily and his movement allows him to flank easily. Cant tell you how many overtimes go the whole length of the map because ironman gets 3 good value ults off from a flank. They need to increase the audio on ironmans flying.

Imo that's what should need to be nerfed, maybe after that her damage herself as she's able to buff others, and can consistently get damage/ult charge from the increased projectile speed. She's a buffer, she should be able to build up to her Ult and do some damage, the problem was before it was extremely difficult getting ANY damage this hard getting any ult charge. So higher Ult cost, lowered damage outside of Ult, and then she'll be in a much better spot. She's a flyer and a constant team wide buffer, there's zero counterplay on her ult rn outside of a defensive ult.
