Yes StormKori I love it! I am here for Storm and your reading is phenomenal! I go to Blerd first for his Breakdown and then I come here for your reading and input. A fact ignored is that Storm has always been a Universal Level Being (being able to pull air pressure from hundreds of millions of miles away while balancing the planet she borrowed from, maintaining that force so it doesn’t crush or obliterate the earth and carefully putting it back without any consequences, distortion or damage to the other planets or the solar system while that force is traveling is universal. She can sense, feel , see and read energy levels and knows how much lightning to distribute so she won’t lobotomize or disintegrate her foes, block and amplify sound, able to override power dampeners (she and Marvel Girl), take and prolong life using her energy, able to house eternity, create a weather system and sun for a barren planet, transcend into Godhood, and enter Asgard whenever she like by her own power…as many times as she have declined a power boost it’s bout time she receives a level up. I will definitely give Bond of the Blade a try as well.

Great video. What I really appreciated about this issue was the choice of pairing Storm, the guardian of the planet, with Frenzy, a former hot tempered mutant supremacist. I really like that we see get to see Frenzy not only be a hero post Krakoa, saving humans, but we also get to see her demonstrate control of her anger. She's such an interesting character, and we never get to see her character development. Teaming her up with Storm makes sense on so many levels.

I'm high-key curious about what her lower half looks like in this white outfit. I wonder if she is wearing shoes or not? I was kinda torn about the third-person narration, but it's kinda better since first-person can set up unrealistic expectations for getting a character's speaking right.

I'm kinda two minds about it myself. I could do more with Storm's inner thoughts, especially since this is her own series. But the way the narrator hypes her up and hits the emotional notes so good!

this was dope. the gigantic crazy hair is gorgeous, and it feels so correct to see storm do some straight up superhero-ing. i dunno about the eternity/celestial aspect to a story. on the one hand it's really exciting, but i also really like it when storm is written to be more human and grounded. i hope leveling her up (lifeforce? elder magic?) can be organic and she doesn't turn into another jean grey. not that i don't love jean, but one is more than enough. also, very small nitpick. wasn't it clearly stated in the sins of sinister run that storm can shield herself from radiation?

Radiation poisoning is a weird route to go. We literally had a less skilled version of herself straight up manipulate the electrons of the world around her destroy the red queens mech in Sins of Sinster. It was so powerful that it briefly caused a red dwarf to appear. Then it it’s said that because this storm had no skill she couldn’t deflect the radiation to save herself. Now we are getting Ororo at her best against a much weaker strain of radiation and it’s harming her

I said that too cause the fact but who really knows about Storm’s history and powers other than her Day One fans and because I’m a Day One fan I’m not even surprised. I’m just waiting to see how the next few titles turns out, besides the whole radiation problem (is what ended her in a prior book because she was reborn and didn’t know how to protect herself from radiation) everything else is on point. This writer has more knowledge of her personality than that Storm hating Ann Noceti (or whatever her last name is) did.

it's extremely disappointing to me that Storm can get radiation poisoning, since she once channeled the energy of a whole damn galactic core through her body, which involves absorbing radiation. it's ok, tho. i stopped buying x-men comics because the writers have ruined everything i liked. i see i made the right decision.

Not to mention Adam Brasher, Tchala, Hank Mcoy, Valeria Richards, or Amadeus Choo - it feels a bit blatantly on the nose to only mention women of color who are less well known or whose feats of intelligence aren't as established/known.
