1:00 So did I guess right that the ships are actually VR controlled ? This issue was a plot hole in all the homeworld series, especially when you thhink about the attrition of the strike craft

VR controls would make sense, especially for Homeworld 1, where the entire race is on the verge of extinction... but also, in the beginning of the campaign, at Facility 315, Imogen says all the screams of the dying was getting to her... even though they only had strike craft... same when they're forced to jump away without strike craft at the Kala Terminus. Not sure if it's a plot hole, or a plot oversight... or a retcon.
