Don't forget the most important thing, it's cheap

Well since it has to be sharpened every day it has been a little frustrating. I would say it’s just cheap junk steel. For $5 more the orange handled D2 bladed one is 100 times better.

@@EvilTwinRC51 I agree, that’s why I don’t want nor own one, but I do have 4 of the D2 ones.

5-10 minutes of some 220 grit sanding takes the edges off of the liner inside edge. Ive done the same thing with a handful of other knives and now they're all nice and comfy. The $5 white ozark trail knife has more of a rubbery plastic so it sands down pretty easy but will gum up the action easier too of you're not careful to keep the dust away and/or don't get it blown out sufficiently, a quick spurt from an air compressor makes quick work of it though.

I have plenty of gear to sand things like that down, but I have to run it as it came for the testing. Trust me I'd love to be fixing issues like that BEFORE going in on hours of torture.

@knivesiguess oh I know you do it on purpose to review for those who will just buy, open and then use it as-is so they know what to expect. I'm just letting anyone who reads it know that the issue you found (and so did I) is an easy fix, especially if they get multiples and just sit down for a half hour and bang em all out real quick. 👍

Mine was very dull straight out of the package, it wouldn't cut anything. I could rub my finger over the edge all I wanted without injury. I sharpened it myself and it's still holding up relatively well.

That's not TOO surprising, OT has that kind of QC issue. About all I can say is that these seem to be suffering way fewer QC issues than their last couple of axis locks.
