I notice he goes Dark Harvest and magical footwear tree as the sub, and he goes nashor’s in the jungle which helps Ekko’s clear speed significantly, but he’s also went Lich 1st so maybe it depends on what the vibe is for the game and the matchup

Bro, both are good, i think you could see what your play style is. I mean, i like electrocute, it's a great rune, but i like the most of HoB, 'cause of my play style, i like the idea of being able to use more of my autos, because of it i also start my build with nashor teeth instead of lich bane.
