Never encountered a Karen before but it's probably because I don't have a job or because I live in a place that's not popular with Karens.

🤔 . . . Yeah, I think you’ve already read mine, about a 16 year old girl not getting her alcohol & tobacco, thus accusing me, a middle aged man, of sexual misconduct, it was taken to court, the judge sentenced her to under my custody where I was going to have my way with her, & I had her mow my lawn, shovel my driveway, & do other various chores. When her sentence was up, she inquired when I was going to have my way with her, thus I explained to her that I had her do various chores, which is basically me blue balling her for accusing me of attempted rape. So, if you want to do a double Karen, Dark Side Karen picks a fight & the Light Side Karen (i.e. [me]) puts her in her place, that’ll be great. Anywho, there is another kind of ‘Karen’ that I actually made, but it’s one of those Light Sided Karens you might want to do a video about. You see, I was in Minnesota’s Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) & this woman was having a problem. She moved from one county to another & the county she moved to needed information on her diagnosed kid(s) which the county she moved from has. Thus, I told her to make sure she got the name of the receptionist(s), even recording their interactions as needed, as she explained her situation: she WAS a resident of the county she needs information from & that if one or both counties refuses to hear her out, there’ll be consequences due to misconduct. Again, you could introduce her as a Light Side Karen before she confronts your Dark Side Karen; Karen vs Karen & such…

I've know 2 Karens and are very nice. I do work the information desk at a college. Your Karen is mellow compared to students put on academic suspension because they didn't think they had to actually attend their classes, the parents their students have lied to...and faculty who think information means miracles. I love watching your Karen the Stormtrooper because I wish I could deal with someone as less intense like her on a daily basis. Keep up the good work.

Hi Larry. Flute player 86 here. Well, I don't exactly have a Karen story, but I do have a story that it's quite terrifying. Some years ago, my mom, my godmother, my God, sister, and I were traveling on a city bus to the Salvador Dali museum. Unfortunately, there was a woman who was very disturbed. I can't really describe everything, because with me, having no sight, I could only hear what was going on. It scared me so bad, that I literally got really scared to the point where I was literally crying. I was scared someone was going to get hurt. This woman was so disturbed, but she was literally yelling at the driver. It was one of those old city buses. You know, the ones that are sort of driven by steam, or something like steam. It had a sort of hissing sound towards the back of the bus, and this woman was very disturbed. By the way, good job on the Karen trilogy. Yes, walking next to Darth Vader is terrifying, but walking behind him, using your white cane is also terrifying. I've had it happen in dreams. Because I can't see, all of my dreams are Audio. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. For some reason, and I don't know why, but Darth Vader has always fascinated me. Someone who is no longer a friend to me, thank the force, found my fascination with Darth Vader sickening and disturbing. By the way, sorry for the long comment. Also, I am a musician. Having to play flute in front of Darth Vader and Palpatine in dreams is absolutely terrifying. Anyhow, I would love to see Darth Vader giving Karen the storm trooper what she deserves. It would be neat to actually hear the audio of Darth Vader and Karen walking down the hallways of the death star. I can only imagine the sound of Darth Vader's respirator as he is literally breathing down her neck. One more thing. How exactly do you provide Darth Vader's voice? His breathing sound is very authentic, but how exactly do you voice Darth Vader yourself? I remember you saying that you do his voice, which you do it very well. There were times and dreams, where I would be playing some thing, say, on flute or recorder, completely unaware that Lord Vader himself was listening. After I would end the peace, he would compliment, literally causing my heart to jump to my throat. He's never harmed me, but he's always been kindly for some reason. Maybe you can help me figure out why.

@LarryTheStormtrooper I (thankfully) have not had too many Karen encounters. The main one I've had was when I was in Hawaii. I had RSVP'd a parking spot at this restaurant. As I pulled in, this middle-aged woman walked in the middle of the spot and started screaming that she owned it. Apparently she was a store owner and the spot was right in front of her store, even though her store was dead smack across the street and not legally in her name. Eventually her husband had to come and move her and I got to park. Not 5 minutes later, she walked into the restaurant and started yelling at me again. Some of these people are kriffing insane.

A several months ago, it was my first encounter with a karen, I was going shopping with my dad and we parked next to a car that had, I think 2 or 3 dogs that were barking at me, I only glimpsed for 2 seconds and then this lady (the owner of the car) came after she was done shopping and I think she thought I was touching them even though I wasn't, she critised me for that even though I denied that. as I was going in to start my shopping I was behind my dad, seconds before the car park was out of sight, the lady I think most likely saw me going in and as she was driving she literally gave me the finger before she drove away. So that was my first encounter with a karen I saw her dogs barking, she blames me as if I was touching them (which I wasn't), and as I go in and she drives off, flips the 🐦

It's a European story so I hope it makes sense for you, but I come from a country that joined the European Union back in 2007 and right after that happened I could travel VISA-free to the UK, so decided to go on holiday to London. I booked my ticket, got on the plane and landed in London, where I encountered a UK Karen at passport control. I was very politely told that I can't enter the UK, because I have no VISA. I explained that since my country is now part of the EU I can enjoy all the EU-related benefits, namely travel anywhere around it without needing a VISA. Unfortunately, Karen Passport officer was absolutely sure that there is no such thing and I still need a VISA. We literally had 3 minutes of the following conversation. ME: I do not need a VISA as I am a EU citizen and basically it doesn't make a difference if I were French, Dutch or Bulgarian. KAREN: No, sir, you still need a VISA. Every logical argument or reference to European laws or directives were met with that very same comment: "No, sir, you still need a VISA!" - nothing less, nothing more. After being removed from the queue by Karen and told that I have to wait for police and prepare to be deported, I sat on the side in front of hundreds of people for 20 minutes at which point Karen arrived with heavily armored security guards who asked to see my passport. I gave it to them and explained that as my country is now a member of the same Union, I do not need the VISA and the lady next to them is so ignorant she doesn't even know who needs what. In literally 30 seconds and to the shock of Karen, I was given back my passport and wished a pleasant stay in the UK.

Speaking of which, I've seen a few of them. During early COVID pandemic there was a guy who came into my store, he had a concealed firearm (not an issue that he had one) and I asked if he had a mask. He said it was illegal to wear a mask and carry a gun. I didn't know what the law stated and I said okay. I was ringing up a woman. She tells me he should wear a mask. She tells him that quickly and walks out. He asked me what she said and I repeated it to him. Apparently he walked up to her car window with her inside and said that he has a weapon on himself and can't wear a mask and he showed it to her with it still being in the holster. I couldn't believe he did that. I'm pretty sure it was the same guy, but maybe a few weeks or a month later the same scenario started, I was at the register, a guy walks in with his concealed gun, I asked if he had a mask, he said it's illegal to wear one with a concealed weapon, I said okay, and he walked in. My manger asks if he had one, the guy said no, my manager asks him to put one on and the guy refused because of the "law" and showed him his gun. My manager wasn't phased and said that if he can't put on a mask then he needs to leave. I looked it up and it isn't illegal as long as it isn't a full face mask. Another instance in a different store there was a guy in a wheel chair who would come in and use our bathroom for like an hour and a half each time. I spoke with him once. i understand being in a wheel chair it might be difficult to get on the toilet and off of it so I didn't think much of it. One of the music teachers and thought he was using drugs because it always smelled in the bathroom afterwards. He talked to our boss and the boss agreed to ban him, but we phrased it as "customers only" because he would only come in to use the bathroom, he would never buy a single thing or even talk to us again. The guy comes in and starts heading to the bathroom and I apologized and said it was for customers only now for a new store policy. He turns around and left silently. A little bit of time passes, I see him in the shopping center, but never in my store for a brief moment. During that time we had put paper guitar pick shapes with accessory recommendation in all of our guitars. He comes in, goes to the guitars, takes the paper picks out of the guitars on the bottom row and drops them on the floor before leaving. I call that passive aggressive Kevin.

I've worked at retail stores for most of my working career so I know what it's like for customers to demand something and you refuse. it was my first day on the sales floor at my new job (first retail job) at a pet store. I didn't quite know much about about animals yet and this is my first customer. Our reptile cage was directly next to the small animal cage (hamsters, mice, rats). The person who was training me (can't remember her first name, but lets call her Miller) was showing some customers a bearded dragon. A woman and 3 kids who were about 9 years old comes up to me and wanted to buy 3 hamsters for a single cage. I apologized to her and said that it's my first day so if she would give us a moment we would be with her. I thought I'd at least try to open the cage. It took me a minute to figure out the keys since I hadn't gotten to that point yet. I again said it was my first day so I'm figuring things out. We eventually got it open and she was picking out the breeds of hamsters she wanted. Miller turns around and sees the one cage in the cart. She said you can't put 3 different breeds of hamsters together because they will fight. I apologized to the woman again and she turned to the kids and said, "Put all of this s**t back. I'm NOT getting 3 f****ing cages for 3 f***ing hamsters!" They did that. Miller put the bearded dragon away and we walked up to the office for something. The kids come to me with google on the phone shortly after and said, "you can put them together." I told them I was just going by what I was just told. I think she ended up getting a bird cage because she wanted to get some parakeets somewhere else. After 6 years of retail and dealing with a lot of customers I'd never forget that moment.

@Larry The Stormtrooper To be frank. I have not seen a Karen yet. I have even worn red polos at target before. While at Target (Never an Employee) I usually help people. They have all been nice. The funniest one. Was I was standing next to an employee and the nice woman asked me for help then she realized I wasn't an employee and asked why I was helping. I told her you asked politely so, why not help if you can.

I love that "Karen the Stormtrooper"-stuff! Do I know a Karen story? My aunt (firstborn) can make for a bunch of Karen stories in how she acts towards my mum... One happened in July 2016, just a few days after grandpa's birthday: As was tradition, we did have a barbecue at his place (except for 2015 when granny died). As usual, there were salads brought to it. My aunt decided she will make potato salad and my female cousin the noodle's salad - So she may have all the attention and embarass my mum in front of grandpa in one fell swoop. Feeling entitled because she was the firstborn and always got special treatment because of it. So I suggested my mum to bring the rice salad to the barbecue - The one made after granny's recipe (for which my aunt didn't get the recipe, but mum did), which grandpa didn't have for years. Mum did so and grandpa was totally happy about it, which is why mum was allowed to sit next to him. Not my aunt 😅 My aunt was mad about that, as she had expected to sit next to grandpa. Though she didn't blow up, she always made remarks towards my mum, along with my female cousin. Well, they did until I was fed up and said so. Not even grandpa dared to say something - As I got to know later, while telling my aunt off, I sounded much like grandpa's parents (who decided to make my mum the successor of grandpa as the head of the family over her. Likely because my aunt is a Karen and my mum isn't). Both, my aunt and my female cousin, had spent the remainder of the day pouting around... as they both didn't get their way. But at least they kept their mouths shut.

To be fair here is a explanation on what a Karen is and I quote “Karen is a term used as slang typically for a middle-class white American woman who is perceived as entitled or excessively demanding beyond the scope of what is considered to be normal behavior and decorum. The term is often portrayed in memes depicting middle-class white women who "use their white and class privilege to demand their own way". Depictions include demanding to "speak to the manager", being racist, or wearing a particular bob cut hairstyle. It was popularized in the aftermath of the Central Park birdwatching incident in 2020. The term has been considered pejorative by those who believe it is racist, sexist, ageist, classist, and controlling women's behavior. The term has occasionally been applied to male behavior. During 2020, the term increasingly appeared in media and social media, including during the COVID-19 pandemic and George Floyd protests. The Guardian called 2020 "the year of Karen".

I started watching this since the first Death Trooper going to Burger King video. After a bit, this channel got moved away from me but holy shoot I’m so glad to be back. Anyways, Karen Story So, I’m at a GameStop, waiting for a certain console to be in stock. We were first in the line and back then, these things were rare to get. The rest of the line led outside, and the GameStop was getting non-stop calls about the console. You HAD to be at the store in order to get it. A few minutes before we’re able to get it, a woman says directly to me and my father “Excuse me, you seem old to be getting a console…my son really wants one and it’s the holidays. You wouldn’t really want to break his heart.” The kid had to be 6 or 7. My father said “We’re in the line first, maybe you can still get one.” She says, “Uhm. But the line is super long. Stop being greedy and grow up.” At this point, the line is staring (as it’s mostly adults there too) and I say to my dad “Karen…better get the cameras.” He chuckled, and she notices. “What did you just say?!” Before we can continue, the consoles go in stock, and we buy it. She practically starts yelling about how we ruined her son’s Christmas, but other people in the line were handling her, telling her to back off and wishing us a merry Christmas. Honestly, that was a good day.

Don't know if you'd consider this a Karen story or not, but...I used to work at Walgreens, and one day while I was walking by the vitamin section, I noticed an older woman looking about confused. I offered her help and she complained she couldn't find the Iron tablets. I pointed to a bottle labeled "Fe" and she turned to be an said "that's not the iron, I'm looking for the iron". I informed her that it was what she was looking for but she continued to argue with me about it. I then pointed to the subtext under "Fe" which said "Iron supplement" then proceeded to tell her that "Fe or Ferrum is the chemical name for Iron". She shut up and walked away without saying thank you.

One time, I was riding a bike down a sidewalk, when a Karen shoved me and I fell down onto the pavement. Now having scraped my knee, I was a little bit p'd off. I asked her why she did it, and she started yelling at me and the only word I could actually hear was the b-word, and I tried my best to ignore her, and walked away. A few days later, I went to the local store. That's when I found her in the parking lot yelling at an employee for giving her a fine for parking in a handicapped spot. Nice going, Karen.

Hey Larry I love your content and just want to say keep it up. Also I have a Karen story😅. Soooo when I was in elementary school there was this Karen in my class who just hated every one and everyone hated her to. But for some reason every year, I ended up in her class. One time she tried to black mail one of my friends and than when it didn’t work she tried to blackmail teacher and when that didn’t work, she asked to talk to the principal. She even one time on may the 4th yelled at me for wearing a Boba Fett costume because they had not announced it to be a spirit day. But one day she took it way too far. You see my sister went to the same school as me and my sister had just started a club with her friends. Oh and keep in mind my sister was 7 years old. So she started yelling at my sister that she was not letting every grad being in the club and only 7 year olds were. So she told her mom who was a volunteer at the school to get her in trouble. But at this point I had enough so I went and told the principal that she had been getting her mom involved to get my sister in trouble who was 7 and the Karan was 12. Shortly after that the Karan’s mom got fired from being on of the lunchroom volunteers and me and my sister left the school.

Hi, Larry I work in retail and I dealt with my fair share of Karens from female to male. Most of them a older like my mum (69 years old) to my grandmother (RIP Nan 82 years old) ages and lately it's been male Karens comparing us to other stores and thinking we're breaking the laws when we are not and laws they preferring to are other countries' laws. For example a man (I think 60 years) said to me (I am a supervisor) we are breaking the law by having vapes out on display and I said if that was true the police who come here every day to buy their lunches would have said something. He said they should have arrested the store manager. I said Well, Head Office put that display out and the cigarettes are not on display which is against the law they are inside the draws of the display carnet, but he went on saying we were still breaking the law. So, I got my phone out and look up the law and I found out the law he was talking about is only in Canada and the man wasn't Canadian he was a fellow British person like me. I pointed this out to him and he rage at me for saying he was wrong and stormed out of the store and my manager come up to me wondering what was going on and explain everything to him and my manager just stared at the male Karen leaving the store with confusion. I told my fellow colleagues about him and the other supervisor told me; That's Mr. Parker he comes in to just complain about everything in our store even when there is nothing wrong which is 90% of the time. So, to Mr. Parker is just a grumpy old man with nothing better to do but complain. He still comes in to this day and still complains. I swear this man needs a hobby. Oh, my manager didn't have ago at me for having my phone on the shop floor I am a mum and I had to had my phone on me in case school or MIL calls and most of the time I do use it to aid customers. Love your videos btw.

My mom parked in a place where she knew no one else would park, and when I am about to walk out my mom's car me and this Karen's car door collide. She yells at me telling me to watch out acting like it was only my fault. She kept yelling at me and told me to watch out next time still acting like it was my fault. When I was done with my check up she was still out there and pointed out that the her car door had a scratch, and told us that her husband was gonna be so made at her. Also Karen doesn't mean purity. I looked it up. My Karen story is My entitled aunts and uncles. Let me start that about 2 years ago my grandparents house burnt down. My aunt's and uncles did nothing but bicker with my grandparents about what the new house would look like. And they were the ones having my grandparents change the plans for redeployment of there house. But when it came to the physical labor. My family basically did all the work. Meaning mom dad and brothers. When the house was done. My entitled aunts and uncles told everyone that they did the work. And left out that my family didn't do anything.

I had a "friend" who had a fight with me in primary school, so we hated eachother after that then i made a new friend who was much nicer and loyal. Then my old friend claimed that my new friend was his "best friend" i asked my new friend and he said no he was indeed not his best friend, but i was too nice to tell my old friend the truth. But he tried his best to break our friendship he framed us, peir pressured us and even told my new friend i had commited a nasty crime. (I did not commit it BTW) he also just annoyed me so much that i was at my breaking point, i blew my mouth lf and eventually said that my new friend HATED him and i got in big toruble because he told on me, but after that he never messed with me or my friend ever agian. We met again and he said i told my dad about you and then i just walked away and avoided him up untill i graduated 6th class and now weve never talked. Honestly we are completely split up i dont even talk to my primary school real friend anymore but we split up after graduating secondary so yeah thats my story. But then we met one last time and he assaulted me with his fists! Luckily a nearby gardaí stopped him, i did not want to have to deal with this in court so i did not press charges but for what i know he was still sent to jail.

Karen is Danish for Pure
@darkwarriormaster964410 ай бұрын
I just googled the name “Karen.” It actually DOES mean “pure.” It’s of Danish and Greek origin. Although, keep in mind, “pure” does not automatically mean “good.”

Larry the Stormtrooper: My "Karen" story isn't a wild or dangerous one but it is one that happened at my workplace under my nose and only came to light a few years after she left. I refer to "Karen" as Special K since I have another coworker named Karen. So Special K had a habit of talking bad about fellow coworkers behind their backs, myself included, and whenever she got hurt she'd leave work and go to a medical clinic where a report would be sent to workplace health and safety. Special K did this so much that after she left, we had health and safety check my workplace out. My coworkers and I got through the health and safety demands, but it was annoying to get stuff done for them. Anyway, I do not know how bad the workplace's safety rating is but it is a very safe workplace in my opinion and the majority of said reports are Special K's doing. It was a relief to see Special K leave my workplace.

All right, this might be considered a Karen story, or it might just be considered a mean old lady story, but I’ll say it anyway. I was in the local grocery store that we always go to as it’s the only one around really. There was a bit of a line forming, and I didn’t know where the line started, so I chose a spot and got into it. I was a bit of a younger guy when I did this, so the term, young man works for me. Apparently, I accidentally cut in front of this old lady and apparently she didn’t like it. In front of a large crowd of people, she proceeded to yell at me in a raised voice, saying something like, young people, these days! I calmly told her that she could have the spot and that I didn’t want it. She then told me that she didn’t want the spot anymore and I said OK fine, I’ll take a spot.

I personally have never met a Karen, but they seriously sound like terrible people (no disrespect to people whose names are actually Karen though). I feel I got out lucky, I mean getting knocked out by some random woman and waking up a few hours later in the hospital, Sheesh. Take a chill pill. Also, love the vids, keep it up. 👍

How about one of those Karen stories where they lie to be the head of the company demanding what they want. Just have Stormtrooper Karen pretending to be the Emperor's daughter trying to put a fast one on demanding a promotion from her superior.

I was biking (where i live, you cant bike on the sidewalk, so i was biking on a road that doubled as a bike path) this karen(?) honks at me from behind. me, not having it, flips her off. now, before i continure, im 20, but was 19 at the time. this lady drove up beside me, rolled her window down, and told me to not flip off an adult. ok, sure, i dont look my age. so i told her that im 19. she repeated what she said, and then went on to say that i should have moved aside. this road i was on was in a neighborhood, so if i had done so, i wouldve been trespassing. lady didnt care and drove off before i could say anything else. i flipped her off once more before going on my merry way

So this isn't my story I just heard it somewhere and thought it would amuse you, so there was this guy mark (just came up with the name btw) who liked to have barbecues with the neighborhood, one day he invited everyone he knew including his ex. When they were getting started his ex's friend broke in to the backyard and started calling everyone *animal killers*🙄, then when she wouldn't stop mark slapped her with a raw steak😂 his ex wasn't to happy.

(I know I'm late to comment, and I don't really have a "real life" Karen story, but I just want to make one up.) There was this girl who was always dissatisfied with everything. Her family and her friends always wondered why she was always so dissatisfied. No matter what anyone did she was always dissatisfied. She want to the waterpark, dissatisfied! She got doughnuts, dissatisfied! She got all A's on her report card, dissatisfied! She meet Jacksepticeye, dissatisfied! She won a trip to Disney World, dissatisfied! She asked a guy out and he said yes, dissatisfied! She won prom queen, dissatisfied! She won America's got Talent, dissatisfied! For her 16th birthday her parents got her a new car, and guess what? Dissatisfied! Nothing seemed to make this girl happy! Then one day she went to a restaurant and when she took a bite out of her food, she threw it on the floor and started to beat up the waitress. It took three security guards to restrain her. She was then sent to court and she said "That woman you call a waitress tried to poison me!" Then before the judge could give her sentence, she started to beat up the judge. She was then sentenced to death. The end. (Just a reminder that I made this up and this didn't happen in real life.)
