The key word here is "Sometimes" This means they don't beat malicos all the time which makes sense because while one has a gun and jetpack, the other is a literal space wizard wielding a hot light stick.

Even though you can obviously see that Haxion Brood bounty hunters and commandos are superior fighters than your average Stormtrooper individually, these fight scenarios also show the sort of military might the Empire commanded considering they could still pose this much of a threat even without any armored or sniper support to rely on.

This is the closest thing we get to have a Empire vs Rebels fight. A round 2 should be in order but this time the Bounty hunters without jetpack and more troopers (i kinda miss our Thorn's boys making their last stands) I hope there is a version of the smarter troopers mods that also improve other imperial units ai (except purge troopers). sure its game breaking but for the sake of your NPC battles, it would be great.

I think for the Haxion Brood we see in the game, and the empires status of this time period, they would probably send two squads of a half dozen including one commander per squad and one rocket trooper. No need for scout troopers or purge troopers. Haxion Brood sends out two duos, two commanders two jet packs and a bounty droid for backup. The brood wins. But then the empire sends a Walker. That's the fight I wanna see 😁

I just realized stormtroopers are right handed and their holster is on the left side

They have to holster it that way because the blasters magazine juts put of the left side, making hilstering the gun on the right thigh very uncomfortable and hard to do. It's pretty much a cross-draw holster.
