After 3 attempts watching this, I think I finally know what Michelle means by 'hypnotic bedtime story'. She gets us to relax so much at the beginning that the story bypasses the normal waking mind and goes straight into some subconscious layer. Even now on the morning after my 3rd time listening, I can recall only fragments of this story. I would say it's a testament to how good a job Michelle is doing at making us relax and wind down from our waking states. Thank you Michelle for this great work, and please keep them coming! Michelle, as I’m sure you know, the UK has numerous historical castles and ruined abbeys that would provide you with endless ideas for sleep meditation stories. Come to England in the summer and head to North Yorkshire for two of my favourites. Rievaulx Abbey on a tranquil summer afternoon, believe me Michelle this is the epitome of majestic beauty, and oh so calming. Thirty seven miles away is Whitby Abbey; visit at dusk or a dark, brooding stormy night, and an entirely different ambience might come readily to mind. After all Dracula landed here...

Commenting the morning after watching.. I feel a bit guilty here as I can't comment that much on the content! The intro section was just perfect, as you set the mood beautifully and gave us permission to relax and sleep. Thank you, I really needed that! As for anything after that, I have no idea lol. I actually find the music at the end quite creepy and the rain is too loud, like pouring on a metal roof which is annoying 👎

You have a beautiful voice, and lovely stories, but I can't listen to you. Your "Esses" are very sharp and whistly, which is not relaxing. Perhaps you could invest in a pop filter, which are less than £10. and were invented for just that problem, then I won't miss out on your lovely stories xx
