Our boat is a 79 Mainship 1 and she loves to snap roll, so we've learned to stow anything and everything that can move before we get underway. That can happen with wind-driven waves and especially boat wakes.

Gotta love the BVI! Make sure you do a night swim with the tarpon when at anchor off your swim platform. Too fun! Great snorkeling at the Dogs, and try to hit Foxy's Taboo. Lots of fish hang out under their dock. Enjoy!

Yeah, this is what it's truly like to be underway during a long steady day-crossing. It's just hours of riding the rollers, watching the horizon, scanning with binoculars, watching the wake off the stern, taking turns manning the helm, making and eating snacks, zoning out to the humming din of the diesel/s, taking short naps... on an on for hours until you find the first sight of your destination. Then comes more anticipation, increasing scenery, and transition.

Saba rock used be a dive shop. The Bitter End was nearly completely destroyed by hurricane a number of years ago as was Brandon’s house. I haven’t been back since the storm.

Ya gotta love a following sea for a lengthy trip. Stabilizers or not. But looked like a pretty pleasant passage overall It would give me the heeby-jeebies to go to sea with anything not tied down to an immoveable object. Included furniture in the Salon. That is just a hold-over my years at sea. I'd probably end up drilling holes in the salon floor and putting eye-bolts through them. :-D :-D

Hey congrats to you guys! We use the Guava travel crib. It’s awesome. Leo is a BIG kid and he still is in the bassinet attachment which will work for many more months. It’s a nice small compact pack n play.

Given that your videos are often delayed a while, it’s probably too late to say this. But 5 minutes back east of Saba Rock is an awesome marina called Oil Nut Bay. I was there two weeks ago (for the 2nd time). A bit more chill than Saba, but a lovely, warm infinity pool by the bar/restaurant at the marina, and an amazing resort a free Jeep ride down the road. If you’re still around, go spend an evening there!

Have you ever thought of having a SeaKeeper installed? Nordhavn’s are great boats but roll just sitting at the dock. A SeaKeeper would eliminate the roll.

It looks like you have a following sea another words is trying to ride up onto your ship the way you deal with that is either you slow down and let the the yacht or you speed up and outrun the sea. But if you leave it at the same Pace as to see you going to fish tale the whole way to your next destination
