@ I'm sure they are! I just can't bring myself to watch it bc mha was one of the few school superpower anime's that had a good balance between the school and action and then the War arc went HEAVY on the action and I didn't like it.

I do think you have a point though, I never thought about how one note a lot of the girl characters are but loking back I see what you mean considering most of them, with the exeption of Teruhashi, don't get a lot of attention at all. maybe I was too distracted by the male characters to notice.

To be fair, nobody but kusuo has any depth in the show. It's just a comedy anime with a little bit of slice of life and sci-fi. • Kokomi is just the "perfect girl". • Kaidou is obsessed with having super powers. • Mera is poor and always working / starving. • Aren is a delinquent. Hairo is hard working. • Reita is a pervert psychic. • Aiura is another female psychic. • Chiyo is kokomi's opposite "imperfect/normal" girl. • Nendō is just nendō. They all have barely any character development, if any at all.

yeaaah, I get that, but all the boys had an added thing that made them different to the cliche where as the girls were just straight up the cliche. Like Kaidou acted like he had powers but lacked the confidence those type of characters have and cowered a lot Aren is a delinquent but he's trying his best to be a better person and to be kind but is struggling even Nendo was the head empty scary guy but was a sweetheart with a tagic backstory. (I could keep going with almost all the main male charas) all the guys had something to juxtapose the cliche that made them interesting and funny but the only girl that got that same treatment was Kokomi (I actually do really like her haha) with her being the typical perfect girl but she knows it and is a bit manipulative about it. I know there wouldn't be a whole lot of character develpment in this kinda show, that's fine, I guess what I meant by depth is that they had more to them than the surface level cliche. I hope that makes sense lol

I watch these kinds of vidoes all the time as just like random entertainment. And its always interesting to see people's favorite characters. But I often don’t know most of the characters because these vidoes are always very anime heavy (which is not really my thing) so I never expect to see my own favorites get drawn. I get where you're coming from but sexualities are so rarely explicitly stated in media and he has flat out said 'romantic feelings elude me' and that he doesn't relate to the other kids when they talk about crushes and stuff and is actively offput by advances made on him, so idk how much more implied it could be lol. I don't think it would confuse anyone when they watch the show, I think most people would agree he's ace. (but tbf I haven't read the manga and I'm not active in the fandom, this is just my two cents haha) I agree poeple can have head canons but I do think ace people deserve all the rep we can latch on to XD and thank you so much!! @@Stormyth_ im ace too !!! i can totally agree that the media needs more rep for minorities (being mixed and lgbtq myself), i just think that a lot of people who are easily swayed may get confused by others saying its cannon haha! nothing against people who think he’s ace! i can see that too! i just like yapping and debating about my hyperfixations haha. i think the reason he said that about relationships was because he may be autistic, he shows a lot of signs and a lot of autistic people themselves have said he most definitely is, but thats again just an opinion/headcannon like him being ace :) also tysm 4 not attacking me the saiki k fandom is so mean about these things and i probably would’ve been cooked on tiktok LMFAO, again wonderful art keep it up! defo subscribing

I think that's what's fun about fictional characters, is there's so many ways to interpret them!^^ I do still think it wouldn't be confusing tho tbh, I think in this particular instance it's very easy to see why people would think he's ace without the explicit statement of it, but that's just me haha. and yeah ofc, no worries! That was quite an interesting branching out of characters, I don't think I've seen any shows' duplicate 🤔 They also all look great! L : I would have went with my first anime Lucy from Elfen Lied (a mistake at 10, but it warned me that cute cover art does not equal to sunshine and rainbow story 😅) or Link... S or J : Sung Jinwoo from Solo Leveling (with his "main" shadows, because my ideas tend to like torturing me) P : I totally agree with yours! (Binged the original trilogy in a week with my best friend) R : Probably would have went with Red from Pokemon (and giving him Charizard because my first game was FireRed)

MERLIN SPOTTED Honestly I found Merlin (the show) to be kind of goofy and dumb, but it didn’t take itself too seriously and it was very fun for awhile :) and it’s nice to see art of him!
