In that moment they are united through god, through song and prayer. I think it is beautiful and he is able to influence many who maybe never would have sung along to a gospel song before in the first place.

People love to say that 'God' is 'mysterious', and credit 'god' when something good happens, but when it comes to all the bad stuff, it's "oh that's caused by people". Spoiler alert: All of it, both the good and bad, is caused by humans/animals. People being so terrified of death and suffering that they pander to a celestial imaginary safety blanket, doesn't change anything. It is embarrassing, though.

Imagine that - the music that you have put your heart and soul into writing, and now you are performing it on the world's greatest stage. Sharing your story with the world. Yet he still stays humble. Letting out a big sigh and reveling in the moment. Kneeling and letting his team take their moment of glory too - that solo was incredible, and you can see in his face how much he's loving it too. That huge smile and those arms up at the end sums up the moment completely. What a legend. The people's hero.

My daughter is there with her mates, she's more of a rocker but she whats app'd me during Stormzy's set to say "wasn't expecting this get on to it". She was right, I get my bus pass next year so I certainly wasn't expecting it, I haven't seen an artist leave it all on the stage like that for decades, it was like the first time I saw the Clash back in 1977, having the the ballet dancers was inspired and Blinded By Your Grace part 2 had me in tears. Having seen all the greats since the 70's I know a good show when I see it and that was one of the best, I really hope Stormzy stays grounded and success doesn't affect the honesty and integrity I saw on that stage.
