2 years later and there's still a hole in my musical heart no other musicians can fill. I'm content to miss y'all forever, it seems. Hope y'all are doing well, and thanks again for all the beautiful, magical stories you've shared.

The first night we went away just getting away from it all he played this and sang it to me, now Everytime I hear it it takes me back seeing his face in the car lights screaming this out and my heart feels heavy for want of it to come back. Your song helped me fall in love. Thank you.

The albums they made are in my go to Spotify playlist, and were and will be regular for my cd-player at home.

I saw Stornoway twice - once at the Roundhouse in 2014 and again the next spring when I sat on the floor at a packed out record store in Cambridge to see them again and get my brand-new copy of Bonxie signed. Although I only ever convinced one of my friends that they are one of the greatest bands in Britain, and no-one I've talked to outside my family has ever heard of them... Love Stornoway, really sad it's over now.

Truly special band. 3 incredible albums. Tell me someone is a Stornoway fan and I will forgive them for anything. Thank you for giving so many people so much art and beauty, your music changed my life. Good luck with your future adventures. :)

I feel so sad that you've decided to split. You are definitely one of the most creative and original bands I have ever heard, daring and "out-there" sounds & adorable and mature stories told through the lyrics. But at the same time, I know this made me get off my butt and book some tickets to see you in March. I will always be listening to your music, it's been such a hallmark of this chapter of my life. Also, Fuel Up will always be on my repertoire whenever I bust out the guitar! Thank you for a decade of great music!

Firstly thank you guys ! Some of the most beautiful music in my life. From the first time I saw you in the big top at the Beautiful days festival , to the gig in Salisbury, to the Towersey Festival you never disappointed. From radio 4 , to Autumn watch to Andrew Marr show - great. As often the case when things don't fit neatly in a convenient box (are they indie, folk, rock? ) so many people "missed" the point ;- you made brilliant music. Very dissappointed in six music for not playing you more. You should have been (still could be?) huge ! thank yo and good luck whatever come next see you in Bristol !

Not trendy enough for 6 music.. ?! Or too pastoral for modern manic playlists?. I hear them birds singin and smile. I hear the melancholy The soft despairing futility of it all in Brian’s voice and still smile in hope and yes, Love! Currently eatin a curry with this on loop and no radio station in sight. This Fragility will survive. Our birds will sing. This song says it beautifully. Iechyd Da ! X

What a song. Straight into my top-few of yours. Where can I get it? Plus, was that outdoor gig clip from the back of the stage done at Thetford?
