My all time favorite song and has been my whole life,haven’t gone a day without listening to it at least once! I still remember the first time I ever heard it and it started my obsession with country music and even bigger obsession with George Strait

"Fool Hearted Memory" is the first George Strait song everybody in my family ever heard. This was in 1982, and I was just a young 14 year old girl at the time. My Dad was the first one in our family to hear George sing, and one day, we were on our way to town together, and my Dad had the radio tuned into a local country station. "Fool Hearted Memory" came on, and my Dad said, "Kelly, you need to hear this guy. His name is George Strait, and he's really good. He's going to be a big name in country music." I listened to the song all the way through, and I really liked it. I thought George had a great voice. It wasn't long after that, I saw George for the first time, and thought he was really cute! I still think he's cute! My Mom heard the song too, and liked it, and also liked George Strait. He has been a big favorite in our family ever since. I always think of my Dad whenever I hear this song, since he's the one who told us about it. Sadly, my Dad passed away in April of 2018, after a 14 year battle with cancer. We love and miss you, Dad, and we're still loving George Strait's music. Until we meet again in Heaven.
