This film covers the making of early stupas and their sculpted railings. We see the site of Bharhut, the railings in the Indian Museum Kolkata and the stupas of Sanchi (2nd century BC - 1st century CE). A film by culture historian Benoy K Behl.

Your narration of each artifact brings back historical events to live. Those who contributed to the constructions of these sacred monuments should be appreciated of their sacrifice of wealth, time and even lives. Kings and queen, monks and nuns, noble men and ordinary folks all had a hand in the completion of these hard-won indus architecture to the attention of the world. It at least emphasis that good thing is not readymade but can be achieved towards sweat and blood. Viewing your documentaries brings peaceful to the mind. Thanks for your contribution of the precious and previous legacy to the whole world to feel awestruck and show them the way that peaceful co-existence is ideal atmosphere to pursue and those in the past had given us a lesson of living in harmony with each other especially in the Sangha of our enlightened One.

Sir your naration of Buddhist Jataka stories, stupas, monuments, relics with good quality video was a pleasure to view. I am intersted to introduce late Dr Dharmendra Prasad (1929-2009) former general secretary MBS of MP who wrote a book the 'Sacred Relics of Buddha'(under publication).I am friend of Mr Pramath Roy of IIT Kharagpur ( also my alma mater).
