Daughter of evil is obiuslly sang in the third person witch implies that it is sang from a perspective of the revoluseneries or at least some one who hates her. Servant of evil is sang from the perspective of Len. Regret massage is sang from the perspective of Rin even tho the first few lines are in third person it is clear that she is singing about herself. And daughter of white is sang from Haku's perspective (obiosly).

The story of evil is part of the Seven Deadly Sins series. Rin(daughter of evil) is pride. Meiko is Gluttony (Evil Food Eater Conchita). Luka is envy (The Tailor of Enbizaka). Gackpo is lust( The Lunacy of Duke Venomania). Miku is sloth (Gift from the Princess who Brought Sleep). Kaito is greed (Judgment of Corruption). Gumi is Wrath (The Muzzle of Nemesis). I also suggest Bookmark of Demise (Shuuen no Shiori) which like the Seven Deadly Sins created a whole universe using songs.

@@LanokirX You are welcome. One of the reason why I like Vocaloid is due to how broad in term of genre they are (music genres and story wise). Other than the long series one like these there are many other interesting one that tells a story. If you are not a fan of Vocaloid singers such as Miku, Rin etc, you can find many covers that are sang by utaites( which you did in this case). Talking about utaites, this remind me there are two (Mafumafu and Soraru) who formed a group call After the Rain sang two anime opening. Mafumafu is a guy BTW. (Many people sometimes mixed up his gender since he has a really flexible voice and wide range)

@@omumafu6346 Actually the song is based on a serial killing case (the Alice Case) that happen during 1999 to 2005 which still remain a mystery and uncaught. The first victim is Sasaki Megumi, a head strong woman with short temper who own a restaurant went missing after going to the bar. She was later found by a couple with her various body parts chopped off and impaled on various branches. Inside her mouth stuffed a jack of spade card with the word Alice written on it. The second victim is Yamane Akio who is kind hearted not so well known singer of a band that sing in bars. One day he was kidnapped from his house and was later found slumped over the table of a bar. In his hand clutched the king of diamond card with the word Alice written on it along with his ripped off vocal chord. As well as his vocal chord being ripped, his head was also being shot. The third victim is a sweet and well loved high school girl named Kai Sakura. She was being kidnapped and later found buried. And on top of her grave was queen of club card written Alice as well as some notes with writing such as "Death is a distorted dream" " she will forever rules" and "ha!ha! Those which die are the lucky one". The girl had her eyes gorged out and skin flayed and her mouth has been carved open. She also have a crown sewed onto her head most likely when she is alive. The final victims are the two young siblings Hina and Hayato Oshiro. The stubborn older sister and smart younger brother rarely fights with each other. The children were found died in their beds with their window open through lethal injection. They both hold 2 parts of a card that when put together is a Ace of Heart with the word Alice written on it. A year after their death, the mother suicide while the father is on heavy medication and depressed. Rip to all the victims.

One thing I didn't notice before was that the birds in Servant of Evil seemed to represent the princess and servant. At one point in the song, you see one of the birds freaking out because the other bird collapsed and died, which seems to be foreshadowing the servant sacrificing himself to save his sister. And, after switching places with his sister, the servant releases the other bird into the world, which represents how his sister is now free from the strictures and demands of her old life.

Honestly the part that got me the most in servant of evil was the end on the guillotine. Not only did Kaito and Meiko realize that it was her brother but they went along and towards the end and when Len spoke to them I sort of read the lips and i assume he said Thank you in japanese hence why they closed their eyes and you see Meiko clenching her fists. God that broke me and still does

And yeah the others already said it that these songs belong to a big series called Evillous Chronicles which also have Light Novels! LazyGurl La preguiça em pessoa actually it was explained in the novels. After their father died there was a politcal conflicts in the royal council in choosing which child to be the ruler. They were really young that time, and already have their lives being manipulate by politicians. One of the minister (I think) cast a Demon into the girl then, and the boy chose to go away to stop the chaos. He was thought to be dead, the reign then was supposed to be the girl but then her mother took over it and have the royal mage to execute the demon, leaving her without her past memories. The mother died not long after, so the reign was took over by her, a teen, and also got possessed by the Demon again which makes her become so cruel like this.

It's such an interesting show and the plot is really loveable. Although, if you are an emotional person like I sometimes, I recommend preparing some tissues. There are alot of deaths and I think the most emotional one was on episode 1 of season 1, just a recommendation though. But I would love it if you'd react to it. ｡^‿^｡

Oh god, these three songs mean so much to me. Albeit my first encounter was with the original Vocaloid versions. I was 9 or 10, and I stumbled across them in this order, along with re_birthday. They were different PVs too. Little me was a sobbing mess, and all four of those songs had a lasting impact, and they're an important part of my childhood and my overall life honestly. 21 next month, and I still break down and cry when I hear them. Pardon the ramble, I'm just happy to see people who have never heard these before get introduced to them. It's a wonderful sight to see. :) Funny to think about actually, I've never gone a day since I discovered the Vocaloid medium that I haven't listened to at least 1 Vocaloid song.

Well Rin became Queen at 14 year old because 1. The King died cause of a disease 2. The Queen died (she either gone by herself or was killed, I forgot :") 3. Oh god I didn’t know about the last one until now ahhhh 😭 I’m super close with my siblings and if I’m being honest if I lost one I don’t think I’d be able to handle it at all. My instinct when watching that was to just scream lol, I kept it in but it was hard 😭 that just destroyed me, I’m gonna call my siblings and tell them I love them.

Also I haven’t listened or seen these in years and now I have a completely different perspective and opinion now. One thing that stuck out to me was that they were only 14, still kids, she was a child and queen, one thing about raising a child I you HAVE to tell them no and teach them what being a good human is. She was queen so of course everyone let her just do whatever and because there was repercussions she probably didn’t even know the difference between good and evil, she was just completely disconnected and didn’t know most likely. They created her and now the punishment of their mistakes are all pinned on her. Of course she did horrifying things but they put her on the throne, they raised her, they taught her, they made a little girl into a monster and killed her because she was a monster. I hadn’t thought of that before, I just thought “she’s a monster but dang this is still sad as hell” and now it’s even sadder to me because the way I see it wasn’t all her fault. Geez wiz that hit me so hard lol.

I'd recommend trying out an earlier rendition of Daughter of Evil ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2WZgKadbqhnpqM ) and Daughter of White ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpeTnZ2MpNBqZ7c ), which is a less known alternative to Regret Message. I like the story in it much better than Regret Message. Please check it out.

@@LanokirX No problem! The Evillious Chronicles is my all time favorite Vocaloid series, and it'll be great to see somebody react to it. The songs don't explain everything (since there are more than a dozen light novels exploring the lore), but man do I wish that they got more recognition outside of the Daughter/Servant of Evil combo. The story spans 1000 years with countless characters and is infamous for being confusing, so I always make the joke that it's the Fate series of Vocaloid---
