Thanks for your efforts, salam from UK. 1962 myself & friends went to Jhang on foot for charity walk from Chanab nagar (rabwah) . That time there was only the section with hole in the roof not even plastered, just the bricks structure, no other building or mosque or darbar. There were few Faqeers or Darvaish there. Someone thought of building it & generate income so it can be maintained.

I came to know from a sufi source that Heer and رانجھا isn't an ordinary love story as people know. Heer was actually a "waleea" - (from wali) but she couldn't attain the rank of an "Arif" since its only for males in rah e salook and Ranjha was her follower, just as a mureed follows his murshid. Due to his attachment with the one he considered his murshid, people misunderstood their love.
