My most anticipated crowdfund project this year besides Cysmic. Love to see these small indie studios designing such in depth experiences. I have a feeling SoM will live up to its hype too

You definitely like the indies! I love that there are still some able to work within this space well.

Are you planning a little playthrough session to showcase how the game works mechanically?

The power of many? Wouldn't that be a great cultist space-witch chant?

Maybe vacuum that surface before videos. I’ve seen the last few unboxing with the same dust, crumbs,and pet hair. But great job as usual walking thru the components.

Will the books be available in pdf? I ordered the game, but it would be very convenient for translation.

Any information on combat/dungeon exploration? I see a single tile with what seems to be 3 nodes, presumably for combat? Is this more overland adventure i.e. Runebound?
@ArchivistOwl4 ай бұрын
The cards seen at 18:40 are tiles for dungeon/adventure exploration, which uses a fog of war system.

I see now. Thank you. Passed over that section as I don't look at the cards in these previews so as not to spoil too much. I simply gloss over to see a few images of tiles, the types of books present, etc.

I like it. I really do. It fits everything I go for in my games. Fantasy, adventure, story, combat etc. The only reason I will hold off is it’s a lot of writing and a lot of mechanics to the game. I may just wait for the 2nd edition. These type of games do tend to come out with some rough edges and a second print gets it to where it should be.

I'm a little afraid that this game might be too big for me, but it does look great.

Is the axe broken in one hero miniature?
@TheKingofAverage4 ай бұрын
certainly possible, these are resin prints and weren't stored well for transit. Obviously final product would not have that issue. :)
