The spelling is dementia. Narcolepsy is a condition that can be treated by stimulants, but also by a newer class of drugs like modafinil and similar. Most all drugs used for narcolepsy are classified as hard(ish) drugs in most of the world.

@@axercute No, morphine is seldom (never) the medication. The medication is usually either stimulants or modafinil etc (forgot what the class is called), ie medications that help you stay awake. (Bonus fact: Morphine - first isolated early 1800, commercially available a few decades later - is named for Morpheus, the antique god associated with sleep and dreams. It was named so because at the time it was thought to have been the part of opium responsible for its sleep-inducing properties. This is at least partly true, but today morphine is primarily used for pain control, not sleep.)
