I’m always glad to see people approaching One Direction music with an open mind! They evolved into their own sound but I feel like some people who weren’t fans of the early years never really got to hear how good they became and I would encourage more people to trust the process when it comes to listening to their discography! That being said I was someone who was an OG fan! I grew up on backstreet boys and they did in my opinion of a mix of pop and rock (especially live!) The fact that we’ll never have all 5 again is heartbreaking! I still find myself crying sometimes about Liam because I know how many of us wish we could’ve helped him in that moment! Given him a big hug and told him we loved him and it would be alright! 😔

Plz watch the music video, liam did sing that part of the song: "she told me in the morning she dont feel the same about us in her bones, seems to me that when i die these words will be written on my stones" and then he has another verse that says: "i know that in the morning now i see us in the the light upon a hill, although i am broken my heart is untamed still" which is also true he was a broken person bcz of fame and the industry and bad publicity from the media. Rip legen👑💔

If you like this sound from them, you should You & I. Also, you could probably put text over the video if you watch the music video in order to avoid copyright strikes. You should also listen to History, but make sure you watch the music video as it’s more emotional with it. It’s basically their last song, and it promises they’ll come back for a reunion “this is not the end,” and reflects on their history together. It’s so much sadder now that Liam’s passed 😢
