I'm only 20 mins in the video so I may have to come back to edit this. But to explain Olivia's story in Egotistic you also have to look at the love4eva MV. In yyxy you see that Yves Chuu and GoWon all leave Eden together and leave Olivia behind. The entire MV she's excluded from the group. In Egotistic Olivia is mad at Yves for leaving her behind which is why she causes trouble (another video therorizes that she kills Vivi and that's why she's brought back as an Android but I like this theory better.) As you said Yves is the first one who decided to leave Eden and she rallies the other girls to follow her which means defying the teacher lady and eating their forbidden fruit. (It is theorized in another video I watched that Yves Chuu and GoWon's MV are happening simultaneously. All at the same time of yyxy - all from their own perspectives - and Olivia's MV is what happens after the girls leave Eden.) So basically Yves wants to leave Eden but the only way is to eat their forbidden fruit. Chuu is obsessed with Yves and wants to follow her but is hesitant to eat her fruit. Yves won't pay attention to Chuu until she eats her fruit at the end of the video then accepting her into the group. In yyxy Chuu is also the first to follow Yves out to the forest. Together they convince GoWon to follow them, in her MV she's hesitant and constantly running from them but is pestered by Yves and Chuu so much that she eats her her fruit and realizes her self worth and leaves to the forest with them. Olivia is the only one who doesn't eat her fruit but she wants to follow the girls as we see her walk into the forest at the end of the MV. Bc she hasn't eaten her fruit however things don't go as planned. In Olivia's MV the sign behind JinSoul says fallen angel. I believe that Olivia tries to follow the girl out of Eden without eating her fruit but she falls somewhere else instead/gets lost in the forest. You see in her MV that Yves was holding her hand but then drops her instead of taking her with them. Olivia wakes up confused and lost. I think she's stuck in the forest which is similar limbo or something. Not in Eden but not in any of the other known worlds either. When she wakes up she remembers Yves dropping her and is filled with vengeance. She wants revenge for repeatedly getting left behind. So she eats her forbidden fruit to get out of limbo and find Yves. Also why she burns the bed and the cassette tape. But I guess in Hi High OEC find her, ask her to forgive Yves and take her to Yves where she does decide to forgive everyone. Edit: I just noticed that in Hi High while OEC are surrounding Olivia they sing the line "It's you~' and then Olivia's been teleported to Yves. That makes me think that maybe they were saying we got the whole gang but someone is missing and it's you. So forgive Yves and fly high with us. Then Olivia smiles at Yves and jumps down to her and when she lands the girls and the moon are whole.

This might mean nothing... But in the Love & Live MV, ViVi had drinks in her locker that she couldn't drink anymore... With Lemons on them, a fruit. But not in the rose family like the pineapple. What if Yves started with ViVi and told her to eat her fruit. However, that's when she figured out you needed a fruit from the Rose family to get out after seeing what happened with ViVi which is why she helped out Go Won so it wouldn't ever happen again? Also, if Yves and Olivia are the same person, maybe that's why there's the scenes of blood being washed off in Egoist. Yves feels guilty for what happened to ViVi and therefore it symbolizes her feeling responsible as if she did it herself.

ViVi may have denied Yves' offer to sin with her fruit? We see her stock them in her locker, never to be drank, and she goes off and plays with girls of Eden. I think ViVi decided to stay loyal to HeeJin, since ViVi is the colour closest to HeeJin's and has never had any sinful actions.

i heard vivi was yves' true love instead of chuu. bc in the 'new' mv, yves was surrounded by 3 (i think) apples and in the 'why not?' mv, after the bridge of the song, yves does this thing with her arm which looked like a signal. and then vivi shows up with literally hundreds of apples around her and shes confused about it. not to mention, the apples had source of light on them and the source of light was from vivi.

Little too late but i think it was because she was trying to follow Choerry after Kim Lip lead her through the forest (maybe representing the frontiers of each world) and then got lost, just as Olivia with the rest of yyxy) but Haseul went looking for her, that would be why they’re together in Hi High

Yves picked her up in NEW in the claw machine, hence her getting lost. (Yeojin was only lost cause in real life she had to go back to school, so its probably not that important and only put in to explain her absence from 1/3)

Chuu and Go won were also surrounded by yellow(Hyunjin's color). The swing and smoke were both yellow. They were the ones who made Hyunjin the bracelet. Also, Olivia seemed to be angry at yyxy for leaving her, especially Yves bc they were leaving to her "Eden". Now i'm interested in how the, most likely darker, repack would look and the continuation of the core subunits and maybe even the special ones, in the loonaverse. You deserve an Oscar btw.

@@rorywei3384 yes I saw the color theory about GoWon and Chuu as the first to be Green and Orange. Since HeeJin wants Orange and Green. The OEC(HyunJin originally) the primary colors mixed their colors as: Blue+Yellow=Green(GoWon) Red+Yellow=Orange(Chuu) But Olivia intervened, I think for some reasons she's angry with Heejin for making her as the fallen angel or the colorless/grey. So as a revenge she added Grey to both Green(GoWon) and Orange(Chuu). So, Green+Grey=Eden green/Mint Orange+Grey=Peach The color theory really makes me understand easily of the girls nature and units, so I, too recommend the color theory.

I agree with everything except one thing: I don't think all of the Eden members have knowledge of the worlds under them, let me explain As you said I think probably Yves is the only one who has that knowledge because she was the first one to eat the forbidden fruit and then reached out to all the members you have pointed out, probably because she wanted to share that knowledge, in fact I think the other yyxy members are unaware of everything, just like Chuu doesn't see Haseul even when she helped her, or Gowon with Hyunjin, Olivia only meets face to face with Heejin after she eats the forbidden fruit, so that means she has acquired the necessary knowledge to do that I don't know if I explained myself well and thank you for this video, amazing as always

Yeah, I have a similar theory. I think it’s what they may have referred to but I’m not too sure. Since the forbidden fruit grants knowledge, I think this knowledge is to reference to the existence of the other girls. In the biblical story, the tree of knowledge was what the creator wanted the humans to stay away from, as it would grant them the knowledge between good and evil. Similarly, the girls of Eden would only have this knowledge after eating the forbidden fruit, not before like you said.

@@ziploc1362 I think Kim lip persuaded yves to eat the apple first, Because in the story of the bible being deleted, The first woman God created was Lilith, but for some reason she rejected the Garden of Eden and fell into a witch, and the animal she most often turned into was an owl. Later, she returned to the Garden of Eden to take revenge on God and turned into a snake to tempt Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. And the creation of the full moon by 12 girls is destined, The owl legend can know the direction of fate, So Kim lip's opening animation ends with a full moon instead of a crescent moon like everyone else . So, Kim lip knows the full moon is destined to happen, so she (Lilith) lets yves eat the apple and let yves develop the follow-up. Just can't find the clue that Kim lip convinces yves to eat the apple to back up the argument .

I just want to say thank you for all of your videos! They really helped me get into LOONA and it's been a great ride ever since. I really hope that BBC continues with the story and world building even after the girls have debuted, I think it definitely helps make LOONA so special. One thing that I think is important to mention about the LOONAverse is that in the "Hi High" music video, Vivi is back to her normal hair color and she's smiling again. Uniting the twelve girls and breaking the loop seems to have saved her and made her human again.

I’ve been listening to Loona’s music since 2018 but I had no idea that Loona had an universe and 3 different units. This theory video has convinced me to finally become an orbit. After they released “Butterfly” I was even more in love with Loona and that’s when I started doing my research on Loona’s story and the many theories out there, but only now that I’ve seen this video, I’ve realized how vast and well thought their MVs and songs are. I am loving your videos! The only differences of opinion I have are the environments and about Olivia Hye and her mood. First, I don’t see the LOONAverse with an Earth, OEC flip, and Eden (Mirror Earth), but rather 1/3 as supernatural beings, OEC as angels, and YYXY as mortal beings all existing in their own respective realms. Why? Well, 1/3 I believe are supernatural because they are the first in the hierarchy. Also, a character in their Web drama refers to Heejin as a “goddess.” I have read the budgets for 1/3 went to international travel which explained the low quality of their MV, but if so, it was a decision that works to illustrate the omnipresence of the subunit. OEC are like angels or watchers. They have supernatural powers, can travel (and transport) to and from different realms, and even help out the mortal beings accomplish the impossible. At first I thought the only non OEC subunit member to travel between realms is Haseul and I think it may have something to do with her annihilating her animal, a white bird. However, HeeJin meets Olivia Hye at the end of “Egoist.” YYXY are like mortal beings with free will to do right or wrong. Yves is just choosing to break the rules and Chuu and Go Won and just following after her. Which brings me to Olivia Hye. Wolves are traditionally pack animals so it’s only natural for her to want to be part of a group and therefor has a dilemma. Wolves are also very loyal. So where should her loyalties be? To the school marm or the group? I do not think she was mad, just think she had a sense of honor or pride that did not allow her to be a part of LOONA “that way.” Hence when she finally got off her own HIGH (the high dive), Yves was finally pleased. No more egoist!

I absolutely loved this! Is such a clear and well-thought theory. I only found one teeny tiny flaw on it. The eye at 23:43 is Kim Lip's not Heejin's... it's actually the same eye footage that appears on Sweet Crazy Love, also the lens... Heejin just has her natural brown eyes while Kim Lip has this grey contact lens.

why do i feel like crying 😭 i know this is like so late you've uploaded it a month ago but i've never found the time and place where i can sit and have wifi and watch this 40 ish minute video so.. here i am 😅 no i wasn't with loona from the start, but i've been here since kim lip and i think around that time was the loonaverse theories started to show up. i had an amazing (and mind blowing) time following loona's stories and theories and always looking forward to your analysis videos because i think those are the most complete theory videos that i've seen. now, seeing this as you summarize everything with their debut MV feels so emotional to me😭 i'm so thankful to be able to know Loona and be a fan of them until now 💜 and of course, their story is indeed so beautiful. i think i got tears when i read that translations for orbit near the end, i've read those since the MV came out but never in that order and meaning, so actually understanding that it's a message for our fans that they implicate in the MV, feels so surreal 💜💜😭 you also pointed out a lot of things that i didn't realize and actually plot the whole story in this video, and i'm so so thankful! they make so much sense now thank to this video of yours. you did such amazing job with the theories i adore you 😍 ok this turned out to be longer than i intended haha but yeah i just want to thank you for all of these awesome videos and looking forward for more together with Loona in the future 😍 LOONA and Orbits, fighting!! 🌕💛

My friend showed me this video today and You’ve made me understand the Loonaverse storyline, this has made me stan them more, it felt like discovering loona again since now I viewed them in this deep rotted storyline concept compared to just viewing them as talented girls who can sing and dance! OH MY GOD! These videos of yours are amazing, It totally changed my view of Loona and my view on music videos in general because I suddenly realised theres more to just what is going on in the music videos than what someone sees and thats serious mind-blowing to me. Watching this video made me watch the few solos that i havent watched before just to understand every detail of this video and it seriously blows my ENTIRE MIND how you can notice those small things and I give you props for the effort you do to understand every detail and research every nook and cranny of their music videos just to come up with your theory videos. Chu Being Chuu Do you know the time stamp? I don’t remember seeing Chuu wearing it haha. Also something interesting I have to mention is that I think Vivi was the first person to go to Earth without her fruit and so Yves probably followed her. There’s a theory that Olivia killed Vivi because Yves, Gowon, and Chuu ignored her (as you can see in Love4eva mv) and in Eogoist, Olivia fell down from an empty building and that’s Yves because Olivia wanted to kill Vivi since she started hating Yves (who is basically the leader and she started leaving Eden first by eating her fruit and others left). I’m not good at explaining lol there’s a video if you search on KZbin. Anyways the god, Heejin revives Vivi because she became a part of them in Earth. Thanks to Daebak Jang I’ve learned more about theories haha lol.

Now you pointed that out I was thinking maybe that dress symbolize their innocence (because it kinda makes them look young and innocent, doesn't?). They were the only ones not being related to all Yves-Olivia gay problems although they were "dragged" by Yves so Olivia could be alone and eventually leave Eden to join them. I have no idea if this makes sense because after watching this 30 minutes long video I'm pretty sure my brain died. But yeah, that's what I think it might simbolize.

Chu Being Chuu I think they are wearing white dresses cause they just came from eden as Yves is wearing different clothes because she has already been to Earth, idk about Olivia though. Another reason why is Chuu and Go Won’s Identities are Love and Hope, and those are pure things which is why they are wearing white dresses, but Yves and Olivia are Faith and Anger. You can have Faith in anything and Yves wanted Faith in a new Eden as Olivia was Anger she didnt want Eden and Yves Eden and those things are not so pure and Olivia and Yves has seen so much more than Go Won and Chuu probably

They are so incredibly made and really make me see things I would otherwise miss. I started in Loona when Go Won was teased. I fell in love with Yves and wanted to know more about this vast world of Loona. I started back from HeeJin to seeing Go Won and Olivia Hye being introduced. Ok, so about OEC: I like to think kimlip and jinsoul have light hair because they represent the moon and the sun, and choerry has dark hair because she is the shadow that is formed an eclipse, hence why she is purple (the color made when blue and red cross). maybe instead of all them being originally from earth, jinsoul came from eden? or at least is more connected to it. That would explain why she is the one yves contacted. her being more connected to/from eden would explain why she was not with the other girls at first. And kimlip being more connected to earth would help explain why she specifically was helping cheorry find the girls from 1/3. However jinsoul could still bring the cherry to earth if shes from eden and middle earth because you know of the planes below you, and she had already eaten a cherry. Cheorry also met kimlip first because she entered middle earth from the earth side of the flip, where kimlip wouldve and then she either reached jinsoul towards the eden side of the flip, or jinsoul helped lead her there.

When it said they get ready and run together to soar hi and fly high my eyes got watery as i saw the girls running. These past two years of being an Orbit have made me so happy! Im glad i got into Loona its been such a great experience. Loona has definitely become my favorite group of all time since i started liking kpop in 08 i havent felt this way towards any group. But im glad it was Loona!
