Yes rasta, my favourite roots band led by the wise Joseph Hill, grew up with their music and still have cassettes of their albums, I was fortunate to watch culture live back to back shows in 2000, Joseph Hill might be gone but his conscious lyrics still resonate with I to this day, rest in power Jah prophet..

The great imminent Culture music was defined as true embarking, thrilling music. I am alone in the wilderness, Jah pretty face. Gave identity through the true term of their name Culture. I was privileged to see them 4 times in the 70's and even at Digbeth civic Hall Birmingham, when Coxone was playing I saw a man by the speakers in a track suit it was Joseph Hill, and I never forget he was voicing to himself & said music is like a flowing river. I saw them at the Astoria in London 1988, one of the best shows I have seen. They were scheduled to play the Jazz Cafe in Camden the day after Joseph passed. His son played in his stead. I will always listen to their music as long as I live.

Yea, I first heard of Joseph Hill in a 2006 Tribute Live Session held in UNAP Square Luanda after his passing. Not long after I saw a tune by Culture in Channel O's Wicked TV show, called Riverside. Then I began to overstand Hill's and Culture's real importance in Roots. Maximum Raspect!
