1:40 Technically not Actraiser 2, but it might as well be. Also, why did this game only have monoural sound? I recorded some music from this game with original hardware on launch, and was astonished that the music didn't use the stereo spectrum at all. Just like most of Actraiser 2.

No idea, but it's a real shame. The Saturn was capable of much higher audio quality. It sounds like the samples all had super low rates. Maybe Yuzo will tweet something about it one day ... There used to be a CD listed on the Ancient websites, 15+ years ago ...

@@saladedemais Maybe Yuzo planned for a SNES port, and just decided to use the soundfonts for the Saturn version?

@@tcbvgames That'd be surprising considering first game was on the Megadrive, but who knows what soundfonts he originally used, yeah. Saturn used the ADX audio compression but maybe Yuzo's orchestral compositions were just too complex for it. segaretro.org/ADX

I don't like this OST much, but Beyond Oasis was good. This one is just really droney and forgettable to me.
